Out for a Sunday drive, stopped by to check on the bloom progress. Should be excellent color in a couple of weeks. Cute little gift shop where I tasted some wine then purchased a bottle and a pretty tea towel.

We went with our extended family and took family pictures! So many different colors and types of tulips. Fun things for little kids.Wear your rain boots . Rain or shine.

This is definitely an amazing place -- the rows upon rows of tulips are incredible! That being said, prepare for a wait. Even though we visited on a weekday (well after the opening date), traffic was backed up all the way out to the nearby state highway. Cars slowed to a crawl and inched towards the entrance. It seemed like it took an eternity to reach the farm. Once you pay your admission fee and park, be prepared to wait some more... wait for porta-potties, wait for the shuttle ride, wait for food, wait to buy tulips, etc. In the meantime, you'll be tripping over fellow visitors and photo bombing an untold number of family photos.Moral of the story: Beautiful spot *if* you have some patience and time on your hands.

I didn't decide on going here until the night before, as I was in the Columbia River Gorge area. It was quite rainy and overcast most of the day, but I went ahead and made the best of it. There are tens of thousands of tulips there, if not more! Some are randomly assorted, and some are in neat rows by color. They have a few random things like a windmill and tractors set up for more unique pictures. There are several places serving food there (all I had was a couple of tasty tacos and a delicious elephant ear drizzled with maple syrup and cinnamon), along with places to buy handmade gifts. Also, there's a playground and other activities for children. My primary reason for going, was to take pictures of the tulip, as photography is my main hobby. If you like photography, I highly recommend coming here when this is open, and bringing your best camera! Cost was about $10 per car, I think.

Acres and acres of beautiful tulips and daffodils. Wear boots if the rain is falling. There are shuttles if you want to ride around the farm. There are things for the kids to do and a craft mall too. There are several elevated viewing stands for better photos. A neat area with plenty to do and see all in one place. Plenty of parking and restroom facilities. They have a festival the next to the last week in April and start cutting tulips soon after that. Mid to late April is the peak bloom time.

I don't know what to say other than the tulips are just spectacular! If you like tulips, or flowers in general, this is a must do. I have never see anything like it. It was later in the season, but still unbelievable. I can only imagine what it would have been like a few weeks earlier!

I don't know what we were expecting, but this is huge! We went fairly early on a Saturday and were so glad that we did. It was absolutely beautiful. So much fun to take photographs (and yeah, they all turned out!) We went the last weekend in April, and this year you could tell the tulips were not at their prime, but still just spectacular. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

If you love tulips then this is a place you definitely want to visit. You have to plan ahead if you want to see the fields in bloom, the tulip season is short, late March to early May. if you have never experienced acres and acres of blooming tulips in every color you can imagine, you should at least go once. It is spectacular. We love to go there on a nice day in April with our family and select our favorite tulips to be shipped to us in the fall for planting. The gift shop is open both in the spring blooming season and during the fall planting season when you can, if you did not order bulbs in the spring, go in and purchase bulbs directly.

Spectacular & Beautiful Tulip fields spread across huge area , totally mind blowing. Highly recommended. If you want good photographs visit on weekdays because weekend (specially sunday) was very crowded.

I had been wanting to come to this tulip festival for several years since seeing photos posted on Facebook. It exceeded all my expectations of seeing these gorgeous flowers and having the opportunity to photograph them to my hearts content. This is a "must see" for anyone in the area when the tulips are in bloom. Take your camera and be prepared to take LOTS of pictures!

As a photographer, I go out and watch and shoot the sunrise coming up over the fields. The fields are amazing, the food is great, the gift shop has one of a kind items, and the overall experience is great. I would HIGHLY recommend going though during the week if possible. I live in Woodburn and the traffic is absolutely insane coming out from Portland. It is nothing for it to take 3 hours to get off the freeway and out to the farm, which most of the time would take 10 to 15 minutes, max.

Wooden Shoe is a great place for family and friends to relax and view the many colored tulips at a casual pace, walking and/or riding the field train. There are gift shops, food courts and outside vender displays for those who love to brouse and playground activities for the kids who will also love the rubber duck races. They are located in the rural farm lands and the short ride out is very relaxing. My wife and I live not too far away and make this an annual event with friends and family. Enjoy!

Beautiful place but because of recent great weather it took two hours to get 10 miles and tons of people turned around and gave up so if you have kids it might be something to consider. If you like to take pictures this is the place for you.

After nice ride through the country side, spend time in a fully bloomed tulip garden. You have the option of walking around or taking a ride on a land train. There are many attractions for kids to keep them occupied. It's more like a fair ground. Tulips will be in bloom in April and May.
