Two years ago we had a bottle of their pinot noir at a restaurant in the Dalles and thought it was outstanding. This year we decided to go to their tasting room. Rhonda was our server and what a great informative and entertaining person! We sampled their late harvest chardonney, pinot noir and zinfandel -- all of which are just outstanding!

The Pines has several very solid varietals. The wine is good. Not great, but very good. And their tasting room manager was amazing. Super interesting, knowledgeable and fun. We bought several bottles and will look forward to coming back next time we are in town.

I tasted a lot of options at the Pear and Wine festival 2012 and The Pines is my favorite hands down. I love their Merlot and Pinot Gris the most.
