The dogs love to explore, always interesting formations from the wind blowing the sand and lots of things to look at.

Long, long beach. Nice parking area, restrooms. Couple picnic tables, area well maintained. We live in the area so are here once a month at least.

This was another stop on my family road trip (see other reviews). As soon as we got out of the car we could see and hear the beautiful ocean view. The sand was very soft and fine, and the beach was almost deserted, so we practically had the whole place to ourselves. We didn't stay long, but it was enough to see the beautiful beach! Highly recommend if driving along the coast of Oregon.

The Oregon coast has many parks along it. This is one of the ones that is just for day use. It's located a few miles north of Waldport.I like the fact that there is RV parking here! There's not a lot, but along the sides of the parking lot you can fit a couple of trucks and trailers, or motorhomes with tow cars. There are two rustic benches if you don't feel like taking the short paved footpath down the hill to the beach. The hill is not steep. I noticed on my last visit here that there are now tiny "sand dunes" along this section of beach which I thought interesting. There are two picnic tables here but they are - oddly - tucked back right next to the restrooms. Weird! Driftwood is a pleasant place to access the beach. If you are travelling northbound, there is a left turn lane which is convenient.
