When you pull up to the sandmaster park store in florence, you won't see a lot of cars. This store is where you get your board and learn about sandboarding, and then you drive 2 min back down the road to the sand dunes, which is why you won't see a lot of cars. This freaked me out a bit thinking no one else was trying it, but trust me, you MUST try this! After getting a brief lesson, we found the pointers easy to follow and were riding down the sand dunes in no time. It took some getting used to, and learning how to best control the board, but was lots of fun! And a lot of work to climb back up, such a work out! The sand dunes themselves are amazing. Such a big area so we could only see a few people, very spread out. No one is on top of each other, lots of space. And I felt better no one could see me fall down. :) The dunes are beautiful!

Sandmaster Park in Florence Oregon is now one of our favorite places to visit and get the best sandboards that actually work. Being a snowboarder for over 20 years I was blown away at the similarities. The owner of the shop is awesome and very,very helpful. It really makes a huge difference to ride on a real sandboard! Don't be fooled by side of the road venders if you want a real ride go to Sandmaster Park!

We have rented from Sand Masters many times while over in Florence & have always had an amazing experience. The staff are great at helping you figure what type of board to rent or buy. They even give you maps with instructions of where on the coast to board. If you are looking for a fun day with young kids ( they often catch on quickest or can sit/ sled down on the boards), teens or friends I highly recommend stopping here. Get out & enjoy the beautiful Oregon coast!

Sand Master Park was a great experience. The shop was awesome and the staff was very friendly, experienced, knowledgeable, and helpful. The prices were also fair. We had a great time riding the dunes and love Sandboarding even more. Would highly recommend and will definitely come here again. 5 out of 5 stars.

Sand master park- full of laughter, sun, and SAND! Me and my family always visit here to enjoy not only the sand boarding but to talk to the loving people of sand master! Boarding through the dunes you can have your breath taken by its beauty but by the vigorous walks up the sand haha i love this place and continue to get sandy there a lot!

I travel from Washington state multiple times a year to get my Sandmaster Park fix , I guarantee you will love the sport, the shop atmosphere and customer support like non other!! Sand Master Park is a great place to bring the family. There are activities for all ages my two sons loved the sandboarding, we all enjoyed the dune buggy tour, and the sand sculpting was a lot of fun too. The kids were nice and busy off with their sandboards giving my husband and I a little bit of time to relax. We will definitely be making a return visit!

My two sons got their first boards some time ago from this shop, currently they're both competing in the sport every chance the get. The staff is so helpful and knowledgeable my kids have a blast! This place provides fun for the whole family. Thank you Sand Master Park for a wonderful time.

Sand Master Park is an absolute spectacular experience every single time I go to it, which this year has became often. The runs are awesome and tend to people of all skill level. I recently brought some friends who received lessons in which they had them sliding down the slopes within the hour. Couldn't ask for a better staff with their knowledge and kindness. But then again I don't really have couldn't ask for anything better about this park. Love it and certainly recommend it!

When I first came to Oregon, I want to try sand boarding I had never tried anything like it. My whole world changed. I will try to explain the way I felt out on the sand, it made me want to be there every spare moment. I titled my review( Leave It All Out On the Sand) for this very reason. When you walk those sand dunes to your destination, you have made an effort to get to that point.Then you stand on your board that you just recently purchased at Sand Master Park. and realize you are about ride down the dune with no hesitation all of my problems are swept away. my point of the story is it was life changing for me and I highly recommend visiting {Sand Master Park } The people that work there are friendly and helpful. Oh I cant forget the amazing spread of sand boards they have to choose from I had a great time pick one out to ride.

I love coming into the shop. I remember the first time i went sandboarding. There is no equal feeling for me than the exhilaration i get when I take each and every run. No matter the run's success, fall or not, i love every second of sandboarding. Sand Master Park provides the VERY best boards and the staff is incredible. I remember specifically Logan helped me. He, to my best knowledge, was very informed and was able to answer all my questions. He really seemed to know his stuff. If you're thinking about taking a lesson, I would request him.
