We hopped on the trolley right outside our hotel. The driver told us so much interesting information about Astoria and pointed out all the interesting locations. We even saw a bald eagle on the water! You can get off wherever but we enjoyed riding all the way down just to listen and see the sights. I would definitely recommend!

Fun little run along the river. Host entertains with trivia and history and everyone is friendly. Crowded during the high season but fun, little ride, nonetheless.

Inexpensive thing to do in Astoria. Takes around 45 minutes or so for the round trip. Was a lot of fun & very informative. Was able to see so much along the waterfront. The guides were great. Will take the train ride again, next time in Astoria.

We made the 3 hour drive from Seattle specifically to take the trolley to see the sights. We checked the website and saw the trolley was in service the day we were there. Once we got there there was a sign posted stating it was in the shop until March. Thanks for not updating the website! We tried to enjoy the rest of the town but it's a crappy place. The shops are run down, most are going out of business, the rest are over priced. It was dirty. We left and didn't spend a dime.

Really moves slowly, goes few places and you can likely walk faster, but its fun and would be great for kids or folks looking for a low impact visit. catch by the dock near the maritime museum.

beautiful polished wood, gorgeous views. the volunteer operators share interesting information about the history and current interests of Astoria. Stay on full the full ride to capture all the flavor. hope on and hop off all day for just a couple of bucks. can't beat it.

The historical aspect of the trolley was great. So glad the weather cleared up so we could ride it. This is a great way to learn about different areas along the river.

The fully restored electric trolley makes it way along Astoria's waterfront less frequently in the winter but carries a full spring and summer schedule. It just costs a buck to ride, or two dollars to jump on and off for a day. Fun way to tour the waterfront.

The waterfront trolley goes from one end of Astoria to the other, and the volunteer conductor and engineer are filled with info about the town's history.

Great way to spend some time and just watch the views go by. Great value at only $1 a day!! Was made even more interesting on the day we visited as at the West end of the line the old Loco Works was open. A small group are in the process of re-building an old steam loco and doing a truly wonderful job. If its open then pop in an see the task in hand. You will be made very welcome.

We got off our cruise ship and walked just a little bit to the trolley stop and hopped on. For $1 each, we went from one end of the line to the other. You can get on and off and ride all day. The conductors were very knowledgeable and gave us a wonderful history lesson about the trolley and the city. Cheap and fun entertainment.

For $1.00 can can ride this trolley all day. It covers just the Columbia river walk. The trolley is unique and it has many stops. It is a great way to view Astoria. When you get to the end of the line, you flip the seats to the opposite direction and start viewing from the other side. Great for the family.

This is a nice informative tour. The people were super nice and knowledgeable. Worth way more than the small fare charged. This should not be missed.

Fri-Sun in the winter, 11am-4pm, except in bad weather. Dinky sweet little trolley is a tradition for us. The conductors tell funny tales about the waterfront you pass by and you can get on or off all day for just a couple dollars.
