The Chambers Railroad Bridge was refurbished about three years ago, and if you are into Railroads, it's worth a visit. If not, keep on driving. The bridge has been restored, but not to where a train is able to cross it. It is more of a pedestrian bridge which crosses the river to where there is an information area about the bridge. Lots of information on the bridge is located there, along with a play area for small children. I recommend seeing it if you're in the area, but it's not something I would drive out of the way to see. (It's free.)

I LOVE that Cottage Grove is trying to preserve some of the historical romance of the areaIf you enjoy a relaxed afternoon of walking through the past.

Where do you see a wooden train bridge? We were lucky to get a detailed map of all the bridges in the area and enjoyed them very much.

liked the refurbished railway bridge and the very informative history panels.there was also a locomotive sculpture/structure that would be fun for kids to climb on.

The owners of Buster's restaurant suggested that we stop here on our way out of town. It was well worth the stop. This is an impressive reconstructed covered bridge and has lots of information posted.

Nice bridge reconstruction with lots of history information included in and around the bridge area. Tough to find close parking.

The bridges lend a nice touch to the morning but not what I thought. Most were rebuilt and didn't have the feel I expected.ok as when included with the Row River Trail

Recently restored, the Chambers Railroad Bridge has become a favorite Kodak spot. There is an interesting screeching sound, set up to deter birds from nesting in the rafters. Apparently adults cannot detect the high pitch but teenagers can and they find it somewhat annoying.

We did not realize that Cottage Grove is actually a popular town. They had a few movies filmed there. This bridge was really cute and we got some pretty cute pictures.

One of the many historic covered bridges in the area. This one is the largest since it was built for a logging railway, and unique in that it also has a covered walkway.

All of the covered bridges were nice to visit. It was nice to see a small community rally around a part of history and restore it.

The town of Cottage Grove is investing in keeping its covered and old bridges up to snuff to attract tourism. It's a pleasant way to spend an hour or so if you're nearby at the King Estate Winery.

The City of Cottage Grove did an outstanding job of having this bridge restored. The interpretive center is infomative and well done. If you have the chance to see it at night too - it is worth taking the time.
