While scouting in northwest Oklahoma we came across the sign and followed it to a quiet little spring that was accentuated with CCC buildings and minimal development. There is a huge pool along with a lot of trails and camping areas. This is not a place to stop for adventure but certainly a peaceful stop over for anyone who is trying to find activities away from the mainstream tourist areas.

Wonderful swimming pool, wonderful and beautiful trails, absolutely wonderful park. About the boiling springs. Really wasn't much to drive just for that was a waste. The park itself is wonderful but do not go just for the boiling springs. :)

This park has a nice swimming pool, walking trails, camping spots, picnic areas, golfing, and picnic locations. Don't forget to stop by the front office and check out the water naturally "bubbling" out of the ground.

We were pleasantly surprised with this state park! We loved the extra-long, pull-through, full-hookup RV sites! The staff was very nice and friendly. The boiling springs was interesting. There is also a recently-renovated large swimming pool, although we didn't use it. This is an historical park, being one of the original state parks in OK and built by the CCC. We camped here in a 40' 5th wheel.

Took the family here for a quiet weekend camping trip. Had a wonderful time. We stayed at a nice campsite near the bathrooms. The camp site was plenty shaded and well kept. It was near the bathrooms which had a flushing toilet, electricity and a shower. Love the shower. The pool in the park is a true gem. Was only $4 to get in and it's completely relaxing. My only complaint... at 11:30 pm the park ranger went to a nearby camp to collect camp rent from some boy scouts staying near us... he parked his truck with the headlights shining directly in our tent and kept them shining in our tent for over 30 min. Not very pleasant. Other than that... great weekend.

We took our kids to Boiling Springs the first weekend of August. We were pleasantly surprised. The visitors center staff was very nice and helpful. Also, the bathrooms at the visitor's center were extremely clean. The park is beautiful and there are several hiking trails to choose from. We also noticed several playgrounds. The "boiling springs" itself is very unique. We will definitely be going back when we are in the area again. A great place for families.

We seen deer, turkey, and a road runner. The park is well taken care of. We enjoyed it. The lake part is kinda small and the cabins looked pretty old, I wouldn't have stayed in them.

This is a great hidden little gem in NW OK. The park is clean and well maintained. The pool area is fabulous, too! There is so much to do and enjoy. This is a great quiet get-away for a couple or a family.

The park is beautiful. The visitor's center is very clean and staff helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The playground equipment and the pool are all new or updated. The park has a nice walking trail and the area around the spring is very nice and well maintained.

There is water boiling up out of the ground then flows to a small stream. The area has plenty of hiking trails, group shelters for gatherings, and camping sites.

The boiling springs was only a small exhibit that had an area that looks like it was bubbling. There was no hot water boiling as I expected. Seems like they were more interested in campers than visitors.

This was a great trip. So much nature. We saw a doe and 2 fawns right after entering the park. There is fishing, a pool, playgrounds and cabins. Great family get away

We were traveling from Fort Gibson, OK to Pueblo, CO and came here for a picnic. My Sister suggested it and packed us a wonderful lunch before we left Fort Gibson. If we had more time my husband would have loved to go fishing. Maybe next visit to Oklahoma we can take a day trip here.

The park is a good size with plenty of parking, picnic facilities, play ground, spring fed pool, lots of trees, overnight cabins and great outdoor family summer fun. We visited in December so there weren't any other people there at that time. I had been here many times as a child, while vacationing at my grandparents and the park has been expanded and kept very nice over the years.

Boiling Springs is a small state park with restrooms, a swimming pool for cabin dwellers, covered picnic tables and hiking trails. By looking down an enclosed whole framed with cedar posts, one can actually see the springs coming out of the sand. The actual stream from this natural springs is very small and runs through the woods. We didn't actually see a whole lot to do in this park but it was a nice break after driving across the plains on a hot day.
