Small casino but lots of different slot machines. Had a few poker tables and a bar and restaurant. Machines are too tight.

Very clean, smoky smell was minimal, and we won a little! The Ice Machine ran out of ice early in the evening and no one seemed to fix it so that made things a little uncomfortable but on the plus side the soda is cold anyway.

Easy to get to and won on them!!!! The road to it is not well lit so go at dusk so you have some idea as to where you are

I live about 30minutes from this casino and its one of my favorite ones. Its clean and lively! they have a bar and usally live bands playing.

This is the third time in 2 months that we have tried this casino, each time we have taken 300 each (Total of 600) we tried penny slots all the way up to 1dollar slots. Not enough winnings to even keep you playing. Didnt see to many smiling faces either ......depressing.....was supposed to be fun...its not...stay far away.....they dont have to publish there payout percentages in oklahoma either none of the casinos do in oklahoma....explains the low payouts.

They had nice comps for new players but it was just not a very large casino. This casino had all of the newest slot machines but had a very small gaming table area.

Casino was fun but they need to work on their exhaust better. The smoke was terribly thick and even burned my throat..and i was a smoker!

we attended this gaming center 2 weeks ago we stayed in the days inn in mcalester,ok we went in and got the rewards card from the front desk and set down and placed $5 in the machine and over the pa system the lady said troy you have just won $100 worth of free spins and thats all i am going to tell you about what happened next the city is quiet and it had not much to do there other then gamble put it like this its not a place to take kids for fun but in all its a nice quiet place for a husband and wife to get away but be advised do not go there and play lifesaving play afew dollars win afew dollars and get up that works i know it do been there and did just that it paid for the trip for us to be there and we had fun

We tried the Choctaw Indian Gaming Center in McAlester, since we were staying the night. The "Casino" itself is not very large and has basically slot machines, and one blackjack table. If you're used to large casinos with a wide assortment of slot machines and table games, you will probably be a bit disappointed when you visit here. My wife hit a good combination and made some money. They did not have her favorite games, so we left after about an hour, having won enough to pay for our dinner that night with some left over. All in all, we were somewhat disappointed with this casino, and if we travel down to Texas, we'll probably go to the casino in Durant, Ok.

We enjoyed playing for hours, and felt entertained not ripped off! We will return!! I was able to keep playing by small wins/ recoveries, and my wife left some above even. Very Friendly staff and security!!

Been to this casino 10 different times. This is the lowest paying casino that I have ever been to. Well below the national and state average for Indian casinos. I feel sorry for people that play here. There are higher paying casino within 60 miles. Will not stop again.

I have visited a lot of casinos, both Indian and not. Even several different casinos belonging to the Choctaws. Believe it or not I have even been in the gaming machine business. If you play small bets this casino is fine. But if you like to bet five dollars per bet or more per game you will find the games here do not even began to pay the same percentage. The odds and fairness of the game should have the same return to the player. (Somewhere between 90 and 95%) I can assure you that is not the case at this casino. While the lower bets seem to run around 80% the higher bets are more along the 40% return. Sure there are some payouts but I have played on several occasions and after suspecting this to be the case decided to observe the play of others in general. If you like to bet small the play is not too bad, but the management or machine suppliers seem to fear a payout when a larger bet is made and the games are manufactured so that the odds can be easily controlled. The NIGC has so few inspectors that they couldn't catch a Indian casino or machine supplier in Oklahoma doing this if they wanted to. It is a shame. Over the long haul a 95% machine will give them a very good earning and will let them make 5% of every dollar every time it is played. That is still very good for the tribe considering very few people know when to quit. Unless you just want to play in an unfair game drive somewhere else unless you bet less than a dollar per game.

Ot having much luck with Choctaw this trip. They took my allotted amount in the blink of an eye! I never get to play much here or win any money.!

thought we had a little time to kill and would go gambling. forgot it was a smoking establishment!!!! could only stay in the area about 15 minutes before we had to leave. most casinos have ventilation systems for smoke but this one did not...way too smokey. will not go back!
