oakwood mall theatres

Trash two toned screen, awful smell in here. Too much money in this town not to have better things as a movie. Don't come here. It's in the mall which has about 10 stores

I have been disappointed and disgusted by this theatre on more than one occasion. It usually takes me about a year in between visits to forget how bad it actually is...then I make the mistake of going back. About 2 weeks ago, we really wanted to see a movie without having to drive 80 miles, so we went back. It is Summer in Oklahoma, which means temps in the 80s, 90s and 100s. When we got there, we were told the air conditioning in that theatre wasn't working. So, they let us go in and see if we wanted to stay. It was stifling. We did not stay. Interestingly enough, this in the evening (full price) and they didn't even offer to charge matinee price...This is just one disappointing visit. Usually on our annual visit, the audio or video messes up. In the Fall, we went and I took the pictures that I am including with the review. You realize when you are in the theatres that they are dirty and not well-maintained. However, it was only when I took the pictures that I realized how absolutely GROSS and DISGUSTING the seats really are. I was going to post a review then but got busy. Next time I start to make my annual mistake and go to Oakwood Theatre, maybe I will look at these pictures and read my own review! DON'T GO...SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BUY THE DVD OR BLU-RAY WHEN IT COMES OUT! This theatre is the absolute WORST. I have been to $1 theatres that were cleaner, with better sound quality and friendlier staff!!! I would have given it a ZERO, but that is not an option!

It amazes me that this is the only theater in enid. The floors are usually sticky, more often than not, the movies have issues and the staff is just there to collect a paycheck. I was so irritated at one point I asked for my money back. The just shrugged and gave it to me! Never even acted concerned about the fact that the move was skipping and the sound was way off. I would expect this to be a $2 movie theater. It really isn't worth more than that.

This movie theatre could use a lot of updating. Especially for a town that has lots of military. The prices are ok cant complain about that, but the chairs smell, and most are broken. I go when its a movie I kind of want to see.

Usually the before movie credits are turned off. The movies themselves play. The seats are pretty dirty with stains around the front of the seats. There's always popcorn and candy laying around on the floor. There's some fastfood smell that seems to linger throughout the theatre. It's cheap though and the only theatre in Enid.
