John, the museum guy here, showed us around the place and told history of some of the items. He bought this piece of land 15 years ago and started building and collecting the coolest stuff. Many things here are his versions of RT66 attractions across the country. The museum is open if the gate is open. There is a 1914 Ford, a "love bus". There is a front half of a VW coming out of the 2nd story wall that you can sit in and view the back half of it buried across the way. Sit in the booth of a 50's diner/drive-in movie. We spent about 45 minutes looking around and when we go there again I'm sure we'll see things we missed the first time. There was no admission charge. John is a super-nice guy.

John is a true artist and philosopher about like and Route 66. We intended to spend a few minutes instead of the nearly one hour talking with him as he showed us around his collections. It includes most of the major sights along Route 66 accompanied by art work, done by himself and others. It is truly eclectic and worth a see. There is no fee and he even offers cokes and drinks. By he is only open when he wants and if the gate is open.
