Awesome! I am in my 20s so there were a lot of exhibits involving people I did not recognize. I think there is a lack of modern artists. For example, I was surprised that the new inductees such as Joan Jett and Greenday did not have their own exhibits yet. I think I expected a bit more. But there is something for everyone- Some of Rihanna and Beyonces outfits are on display.I play music in a band so it was really cool to see. The gift shop sells guitar picks, drum sticks, glassware, a huge selection of music and T shirts, sweatshirts etc. Definitely stop by the gift shop. It's in a cool location too. Bring your school or military ID because my admission ended up being $18 instead of $22.

We had a little time in the morning before a trade show and decided to visit the Hall of Fame. My co-worker and I had exactly 1 hr and 45 minutes to get through it, and we made it, but to do so we needed to skip the films in the theaters. Although i do regret not taking the time to do so.The museum featured many great exhibits of Rock and Roll History. It was cool to see outfits of the performers and concerts I saw back in the 80's and also some legendary items- Clarence Clemmons' Saxophone, Beetle's costumes, and artwork from JImi Hendrix when he was a kid- he definitely had an artistic side outside of music! There always seemed to be a surprise around every corner. The price tag is a bit steep, but well worth it- even for one as frugal as me.

Unexpected items in this museum, could not believe all the stuff they had and how good a shape most of the items were in. Will come back when in town again.

It felt like heaven in there. You can see Classic Vinyl live, and it is just awesome. There is a KEITH RICHARDS GUITAR.

My boyfriend and I had no plans today, and since the sun was out we decided to head up to the Rock Hall and check it out. Parking is $8 right by the museum, but a block away it's cheaper if you want to walk alittle (around $5.) If you are active military or a veteran, please remember to tell them at the museum desk when you purchase tickets! There is a discount. The staff is very friendly and helpful when you fist come in. The guidebooks they give you show the number sequence of the exhibits. Great setup and great items! I really enjoyed the Les Paul exhibit and the new inductees. This is a great way to spend a leisurely afternoon!

Thank you for visiting! Glad you enjoyed the Paul Simon: Words and Music special exhibit. We're sorry you were overcharged for your admission ticket. I will reach out with a private message to set up a refund for you.

We visited with 3 older teens, then soon separated & let them go at their own pace. They equally had a great time finding familiar names they knew through their parent's music, also finding a section with Lady Gaga & Beyonce, etc. We loved the Dick Clark exhibit, Elvis, and the variety of memorabilia such as outfits and vehicles. I would recommend sitting down and watching some of the videos to really appreciate the displays. The staff was accommodating and hospitable, allowing photos (just no flash). We parked across the street in the garage so it was fairly convenient. My only complaint is that we found out my son's idol, Ariana Grande, visited an hour after we left!! I would highly recommend the gift shop. Worth every cent.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is a Must See for any music fan! It is a place I had always wanted to visit and finally got the chance when I drove down to Ohio with my husband during the summer of 2014. We spent a full day at the wonderful museum and wish we could have had more time there. Since it was July 4 holiday, the crowds were awful. I have told myself it is a place I have to return to in order to see more of it. The displays are awesome and so much fun to see and reminisce about the good old days of rock and roll. Gotta see this place!

Go by yourself. And I never say that. I am very much of a sharing person, but this is one to do alone. Musical taste is very much an individual thing. One person likes this; another likes that. Being by yourself lets you go through at your own pace, staying as long as you want at one part or skipping another part. I spent the better part of a day here and enjoyed every minute.

I went with a group of six friends in December and it was one of the best weekends away we have ever had!! OMG, the museum is awesome. Every musician you have ever loved is there. The exhibits and videos were excellent. We spent the whole day there and would have loved another whole day. Even though Cleveland is not on the way to anywhere, it is so worth it to make a special trip there just to see the Rock as locals call it. I will definitely go again. It is the ultimate trip down memory lane if you are a Boomer. If you go, plan to devote the entire day, breaking for lunch in their nice little cafe. Or you could go for two days, it would not be too much.
