This waterpark has been struggling to stay alive for years with Kings Island waterpark across the street but I prefer this waterpark much better as it's not as crowded and I love Reggae Sundays. If you're looking for a day at the waterpark I would definetly recommend The Beach.

We Loved, Loved Loved it each time we went. So that means multiple visits. I am now 51 years old but I loved the tall fast water slides all the way to the lazy river. I rode it all. I had my little grandchildren in the children's part. I also let them ride some of the slides with me. It is a very family friendly place to go in the summer. I would highly recommend it for the family or just for yourself to relax and have some fun.

I can see where a lot of the previous reviewers are coming from, but I didn't think Beach Mountain was quite as bad as some made it out to be.To be honest, upon arriving my first impression can be summed up in one word...rhymes with LAME. The "mountain" is a pile of dirt in the parking lot. I was picturing the water tube rides rigged up to do snow tubing. For the small number of people there, the wait to buy tickets was ridiculous. When I got to the front I figured out that they only had one person selling tickets and dolling out food. If you're the dishonest type, you could probably skip the tickets all together . I don't think they ever checked them and even if they had, they don't stay on at all so you could easily find them laying all over the ground. My boys had gotten a couple CincySaver tickets for Christmas, $24 tickets for $12. When I went to buy my ticket, it was only $10. Not sure why, if they lowered prices or if it was because it was 8:00 on a Friday night (it closes at 10:00).We headed straight for the "mountain". Now, the obvious comparison is the snow tubing at Perfect North, but really there is no comparison. Perfect North's trails are gigantic compared to The Beach. While that is great, I started to see some advantages to Beach Mountain. The "snow" is really just ice which makes for some fairly fast tubing and, since the trails aren't terribly long, you end up going three times more often. Another nice thing about the smaller size is that, after a while I could hang out at the bottom and let my boys (who are 8 and 7) go to town and not worry about them. I could keep an eye on them from top to bottom. No way I would ever try that at Perfect North. The night we went it was pretty empty. Even though a few of the lanes were closed, I don't think there was ever a wait to go solo and only a short wait to go down together in the group lane. It's not Perfect North, so don't even try to compare the two. It's also a lot cheaper than Perfect North and a lot less crowded (for us it was anyway). One tip...watch out for the snotty Mason kids. There were quite a few teen/pre-teen kids there who tended to "forget" how a line works.

I don't frequent many water parks, but this one was tons of fun. I wish I lived closer so I could come here on the weekends during the hot summers.

You can find cheap tickets, and it's not bad. They have an awesome big slide. It's not as good as Kings Island's water park, but you can find better deals and they have some different things. Not bad at all to try.

Even with a Groupon it is not worth the time and money. I was shocked at how short and slow the hill is. Nothing fun about it. I was embarrassed that I asked others to do this with me. We went down four times and left. Their website says tubing is faster than sledding and there is a variety of different runs and levels to try. This is false advertisement as there are not different levels to try unless they are considering the itty bitty slope in the kids play area a run. And I've sled longer and faster on my back yard hill as a kid...lol. Perhaps kids under 10 may find it somewhat fun. They also only have 1 bathroom stall for woman and 1 for men...so expect a line...no changing rooms either. Concessions are very expensive.

My family visited the Beach Mountain today and to say we were disappointed would be an understatement! The ad on the website states "with a variety of different runs and levels for you to try" when in reality there was only one small hill with a few lanes open! The sign in front of the hill described the ride as "an intense participatory ride" which was also misleading because there was nothing close to intense about tubing down this short hill. If it was so intense why were preschool children tubing down the hill? For 24.00 a person I feel like I was majorly scammed and will never visit Beach Mountain or the Beach Waterpark again...False advertising st its finest!

We bought tickets for the winter park and no where on our tickets did it say we can't go through a certain time. We drove out of state for this! Then they said we could buy tickets we already bought! Back home we have Mad River Mountain which is 10x better and it's cheaper. I'll NEVER come back here!

The Beach Mountain consists of one relatively small, straight hill with around 10 separate lanes. Your ticket is good for 2 hours, but everyone was bored after one hour. Half of the lanes on the hill were closed. The moving walkway to the top worked well. The small snow "play area" has one place where you can throw snowballs, if you can get the snow to pack, at a plywood house. The small tubing area for little kids was closed. The tickets are expensive for one short hill, so you would be better to save this money and go to Perfect North.

Their attempt at a winter recreation park needs upgrading. The snow tubing hardly had any snow, only half of the runs were open, with mud at the top. The tow rope does not work and you have to climb the hill pulling the very heavy tube. My boys could only do this 2 times and they were worn out. Until the kinks are worked out and they offer more activities...SAVE YOUR MONEY!

First, when I bought the ticket the calendar said they were open from 11a-8p. We arrived at 12:30 and a sign was on the gate saying they were not open until 3pm. Then only three slides were open. Maybe never go after 8/1! We were there before Labor Day!

Enjoy short lines, tasty food, palm trees, and less crowds compared to K.I. My kids enjoy the Beach because it is less crowded and has attractions to meet all of their interests. We enjoy the family time we can spend at the beach.

We took our toddler there for a summer weekend getaway. She loved it. We have been there many times before she was born. The slides are pretty good but could use some updates. The new baby pool was nice but one of the fountains didn't work. The toddler area was neat but there were too many big kids on it to allow my daughter to play. Overall it is a good park for low budget family fun.

If I had checked out tripvisor first we would have not gone here! I had read online that they had put 5 million dollars into fixing it up, so I wanted to see the improvements. Yes, the bathrooms were cleaner than before, there is now a small pool for the little ones. (Which was closed!) They put in a large spray ground with a dump bucket but if your kids are very young and you want to keep your eye on them this is not the place. They were short staffed and not all slides were opened which made the lines even longer. Then they would close the open slides and open the closed ones. I noticed it was not that clean and there were a lot of leaves in the lazy river. The wave pool was not very wavy at all. Still in need of a lot of improvement and general upkeep.. I don't see 5 million dollars worth of improvement here, and I also don't see 35 acres.

Went on a hot Saturday. Like others have said, lot of slides closed though a couple opened as more staff showed up. Manager was covering one of the slides. Guess they have a help problem. I agree with the water quality. Just isn't that clean. Grounds could use some work as well. The kids area broke down but they had it going in about an hour. Lazy river was nice. The bigger slides were fun but I found only 3 that I really enjoyed. Only good thing was paying $20 each for admission. If they want to last, they need to have the slides OPEN and the place clean, too much competition around to keep things the way they are.
