Went to Tiffin for the day, and stopped in the museum. Very nice displays, the museum was much smaller than I thought it would be. Pretty much everything in the museum is in cases, but the gift shop has lots of glass items on display, so may not be a good idea for people with small children. I would have liked some description of the pieces, and history. How some of it was made, where they came from, when and why a style became popular, etc. It's all very beautiful, and well-kept, but would have liked some more information about the glass. There is a case of tools and it would have been interesting to know what they were used for. The few questions we asked were answered by very nice and informative staff.

So much to see and hear about. They make beautiful ornaments and personalize them for you, which is a great idea

Tiffin is about Tiffin Glass, so you have to go here. It's quiet, clean, well organized, and operated by volunteers...so say "Thanks" and leave a few bucks in the bowl to help support the Tiffin Glass Collectors Club and the museum.

Although this little gem of a glass museum is only open a few hours a week, it is worth planning a trip around. Volunteers keep it maintained and the exhibits make for a very interesting display.

Beautiful items, but we went there with children and it was not such a good idea, but they did not break anything and the pieces there were beautiful.

The history of the glass house is tiffin is very interesting. Very large display of the different kinds of glass that was produced at the glass house. They even sell glass pieces. Nice to visit Phat Cakes when you are done for a delicious cupcake and lunch or dinner.

Why more people don't visit this is out of therealm of reason. Very enjoyable and entertaining. Take the trip to see this place and then drive up to Lake Erie and take the coast road back. Just relax.

We have family connections to the old Tiffin Glass works, but even without them, the museum has loads of lovely pieces and some interesting historical information. The volunteers here are invariably friendly and knowledgeable.

A marvelous treasure in a small town. Tiffin Glass was made in Tiffin, Oh until the 1980's. The museum contains many examples of the products produced. This is all very collectible glassware and the method of display is well done. There is a section with special lighting to show the effects lighting has on various colors. The docents are very knowledgeable and most friendly. You may also purchase glassware in the "store area".A definite "must see". You may also be interested in the doll museum and civil War museum which are also in Tiffin.
