The bowling alley itself is a little older so most house balls are also pretty old....but they host a lot of league play. There is night bowling and what looks to be like a VIP side with larger seating. A small arcade flanks the entry way. The bar and grille.....this is the reason to go! Pretty good atmosphere and food/drinks. Pretty decent for a bowling alley. I like the place...some leagues include weekly pitcher of beer and pizza per team with fees paid....not a bad deal for league night. There is a laser tag area too....or laser maze they call it...but I have never really witnesses it used.....maybe for small kid parties. Overall, good location, staff and bar. The 4 stars is a combination of all things considered.

The lanes are probably not ideal for the serious bowler. We had our bowling balls scuffed with one having significant damage. The Freeway Lanes management offered to do repair, but the service arrangements, and the time to repair, were unusable for us.I observed many families, events for young bowlers, groups of high school or college students, and a nice atmosphere and facilities for parties that include bowling. The bowling alley is around the corner from the Solon Police station. After dark the bowling alley added lights, television, sports, and music so while I down-rate the bowling, I admit that Freeway Lanes works hard to provide an entertaining experience.

We love to go to Freeway Lanes on Friday or Saturday nights. Their cosmic bowling is so much fun. The people that work there are very friendly and helpful.

So, this place was amazing! We've been trying to plan this evening out for a few weeks, but we finally made it happen. We were deliberately aiming for a Tuesday evening for karaoke, and it was outstanding. It does start a little late in the evening for a weeknight, but it is such a good time. You know how sometimes you go to karaoke and no one sings? This place has a lot of people who sing and they are very good. The attached arcade is fun too. The lights and sounds will send you straight back to your childhood. We didn't get around to bowling last week, but we will definitely be doing so this week. If you are in or around Solon on business or just because, make time to stop in for a fun evening!

We have bought Groupons for Freeway Lanes on 3 separate occasions now. Our kids really enjoy a couple hours of bowling, and the Groupon makes it reasonable for us to go. We called ahead to make sure lanes were available for open bowling at the Wickliffe location, and we were told they were. When we arrived, they were not able to accommodate us because they "forgot" they were hosting the Senior Games. So we left and went to the Mentor location, and they were awesome. Although they are farther from our house, we have gone there 3 times now, and the staff has always been very nice. We have no problems getting a lane during open bowling, and always have a good time. Please keep offering the new Groupon packages!! We can't afford to come as much without them.

We always have a great time bowling here. Perfect rainy day activity. Cheap pizza (not great but OK) that the kids love. Bumper bowling for the little ones. Just steady fun-

Went to a birthday party mid day on a Saturday and the kids had a great time. The service was great during the day. We ordered food on top of the pizza the kids ate and the food was hot and fast. The employees all seemed happy to be a work that day and help us clean up as the party went on.

this is the new bowling experience. It's a little bit of everything. So much fun. Excellent facilities for bowling but with live music and great food selection too. Spend an evening affordably.

We had a corporate function held here. The food was ok. The lanes looked great. They have pool and darts (bring your own darts) and it's a nice place for a corporate function. I have no idea on the prices.

I'm not young and was born next to this bowling alley, I've returned over the ensuing decades and finally bought back my childhood home after 25 years serving as a u.s. Diplomat. I've served all over the world and lived all around the USA and am proud to call solon my home. Now everytime I come back with my 10 year old son, our first stop is freeway lanes. We always seem to find a free lane even though the place is always crowded and we enjoy the pizza, wings, nachoes, excellent Americana. The bar has a fine wine selection, better than most white tablecloth restaurants. The only problem, no other bowling alley in the world could possibly compare.

the place has the wooden lanes so that's a plus and very good burgers like Angus so its top notch and the wait is very short so no waiting and they also have a water and waitress and really good prizes and a kick butt arcade.

Went to go bowling with a bunch of friends but ended up visiting on the bar on the outside deck. Great place to socialize.

What more can I say? This is one of the best run bowling lanes ever. The bar is separate from the lanes and they mix a great drink and serve terrific wings. The lanes are always busy, yet are well maintained.
