There is nothing more refreshing than a freshly picked apple except an apple that you are able to pick yourself!! Lynd's Fruit Farm offers the opportunity for a family to roam through orchards of various varieties of apples, selecting the perfect tasty treat. Or, you can explore the farm market and select fresh vegetables, amish cheeses and ciders made from various fruits. Lynd's is only open when fresh fruit and vegetables are available. So, make plans in the Summer or Autumn.

My husband and I have been going since we were married to pick pumpkins and when we had our kids we have continued to pick pumpkins! It's great with a great selection! Love it.

I found this "you pick apple" orchard before going up to OH in October 2013. We enjoyed it so much we returned again this year, October 2014. They have a nice variety of apples to pick and their prices are great! After picking apples, you must visit their market for some other goodies, including a cup of warm apple cider. Picking apples here is our new annual tradition.

This is a great place to get fresh produce and baked goods, jams, jellies snacks, etc. We enjoy the drive out to Lynd's to shop at the market several times a year. Also in the fall, we make a special trip to pick suncrisp apples. Lynds is the only place I know of to get this type of apple. I love to make pies with these apples, soooo good! They have a variety of apples for sale at the market if you don't want to go out in the orchards and pick your own. Also, you can go out in the fields and pick your own pumpkins and gourds. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

We were very underwhelmed with the quality of apples and disappointed with what we found in the pumpkin patch. On the other hand the cost was much higher than at the grocery. Cars everywhere and lines that go as far as you can see. Frustrating!

This is the 2nd year the family and I went apple picking at Lynd's. They give you a bag and you drive back to the orchard and fill the bag with apples and pay when you are done. They have different kinds of apples depending on when they are in season. We went yesterday they had red delicious, yellow delicious and jonagold. We choose the large bag which was 20 dollars and we picked about 20 pounds of apples. Then we went to their general store which has Amish cheese, homemade bakery items, fruits, vegetables and various other items. They also have sandwiches and donuts for sale. Lynd's is about a 15 drive on the East side of Columbus.

Each fall, this is a must-stop for me. Terrific apple picking, corn maze, and store. Everything always looks so good.
