The Resort is rather nice. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and will visit again. We will not eat at CK's again though. The food was just okay and the service was worse. We enjoyed out dinner at Smoke BBQ much better the night before.

If you have the chance to stay or just have dinner, this is the place. The rooms are updated, fresh and clean! The food is delicious, the steaks are savory! Yummm. Excellent golf course. The service is outstanding! Check it out, I love it, Oh did I forget to mention indoor and outdoor pools, exercise room, saunas, showers in restroom by the pool! Kid friendly!!!! Great place!

The hotel is nice and big when you first walk in and has cookies waiting for you when you arrive. Very nice view when you walk in and the pools are nice and they have a big work out room. The outside pool is nice also. The rooms were big and spacious, big beds and comfortable and big bathroom.

Both courses are excellent designs, but not up to that private country club experience. Pro shop staff was very friendly, on course maintenance staff not so. Since they do resort play in conjunction with the hotel, they really need to have better hole descriptions on the score card at the least, ideally for what they charge for a round of golf, you should be given a yardage book to help you find your way around the layouts.

"Resort" is pushing it, but the hotel is great for an overnight -- probably not for a romantic getaway unless you're on a budget. Perhaps would be a treat if you like to golf. Go for a real nature treat at the Holden Arboretum if you have time. Hotel very reasonably and nicely priced. Clean, efficient, and convenient, and certainly a nice break from the chains. Instead of the rather boring bar and restaurant (think 80s Ramada Inns), drive the 6 miles to Painesville for the good upscale food at Bistro 70 (noisy on weekend) or the old-fashioned, quiet, giant Prime Rib plates at Hellreigel's (we did our Tripadvisor homework when passing through and chose Bistro 70 this time, but once before were very differently impressed with going back to Frank Sinatra time at Hellreigel's.

The hotel was nice other than the 20 mile treck around the hotel to get to our room. The rooms were clean and nice, the pool, fitness center and hot tub were well maintained. My only real complaint was the bed was rather old, lumpy and sagging. It made driving 4 hours the next day uncomfortable.

This place once was the spot to go when you wanted to go to quail since the hotel and golf course have not so graciously parted ways the place is starting look dated and need a face lift . I feel bad because right on the freeway and has a perfect spot right next to the club. You can stay the night and golf which is great but the rooms and decor are just ok. The pricing is fine and its not like there not charging a high end hotel price the lobby was large and open, the pool is a little small but ok for a quick swim. I would stay again but live in the area so i really don't need to.

We like staying here during the Ice Wine Weekend Festival. The package deal is great! A bottle of wine, cheese and crackers and chocolate covered strawberries in your room. A nice breakfast buffet the next morning, it was very good. We also used the shuttle to Ferrante Winery. We are looking forward to next years Ice Wine Festival!

Exterior of hotel and pools are clean and inviting. The interior lobby and public spaces are beautiful, clean and well cared for. Our room was immaculate, and the bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food was moderately priced. (We are accustomed to larger portions though.) The breakfast buffet was outstanding. They offered a variety of eggs, breakfast meats, waffles, pastries, fruits, beverages, etc. Overall, a very nice stay. We are definitely planning another short get away at Quail Hollow!

Comfy, clean and family friendly. Spacious lobby and tasty fresh (and free) cookies & apples. The indoor and outdoor pools were big hits with the kids.

Typical rooms. Restaurant is pretty but way overpriced for mediocre food. Place has nice pools and is noted for it's golf course. If you don'tGolf don't bother coming here.

Liked the location and the price of the facilities and the staff. Disliked the "heat" in the building!

Had a business dinner at the restaurant and loved it. The food was tasty and service was excellent. I attended a large conference the next day and had buffet that was OK, but nothing special. The facility is huge and very up to date. Very beautiful setting on large golf course.

Liked the closeness to the golf courses; disliked the highway noise; would have liked the hotel to offer info about nearby options
