three creeks metropark

This is part of an overall Columbus bike path, which now includes miles and miles paved trails through the city and surrounding countryside. The main section of this metropark includes parking, green space, picnic area, playgrounds and a pond/lake with a separate path. All great just for destinations. If you're wanting to bike, however, this is great for a day biking trip. Or a biking trip into Bexley where you can enjoy Jeni's ice cream or Johnson's ice cream, not far from the trail (but a bit of a ride from Three Creeks...and you have to go all the way back for your car after the ice cream - which helps take care of the calories from the ice cream).

This metropark has several trails of varying lengths that are good for walking, jogging or biking. Some of the trails go through the trees while others go around ponds. The area is rather secluded so I wouldn't go alone.

Three Creeks Metro park is a good place to walk or bike, I just make sure someone is with me when I go. There are some areas (like going under the underpass) where it can get kind-of creepy.
