My boyfriend took me here as a surprise and it was so romantic!! Beautiful grounds, the Bistro was amazing. We sat downstairs by ourselves in front of a huge fireplace and had one of the best meals ever!! The wine was fantastic as well, we wen home with a few bottles. Highly recommended!!

We are so lucky in Northeast Ohio to have this wonderful facility that not only offers fine cuisine and wines, but is beautifully landscaped grounds and vineyard. For your overnight stay, there are amazing well appointed villas!

Saturday afternoon was a perfect time to stop in and have a bite at the bar! Bartenders were very personable and efficient. We had wine cocktails that we liked a lot, blue cheese potato chips were really good, tasty meatballs and a chicken flatbread sandwich! Everything met our expectations ~ wish we lived closer!! We've eaten in the Bistro and this was our first Crush House experience and we'll definitely be back!

This place is beautiful inside and out. Their food and wine is excellent. The decor is magnificent and especially so at Christmas time. Staff is very accommodating. Be sure to make reservations far in advance during the holidays. It is a special dining experience you won't forget.

I want to like Gervasi, I really do! It is a very impressive operation and is great for trying to impress visitors as one of the small selection of NON chain restaurants in the Canton dining scene. I have been there 5 times. They have very large grounds with a pond that is a fairytale like setting. Inside, the main restaurant is more of a rustic decor; appropriate since it was a converted barn. The food, (3 times ordering different entrees) was dissapointing to say the least. Management did send me a small gift card due to the food problems. I appreciated their efforts to make things right, and went a 4th time for just drinks at their newer "Crush House" that supposedly had liquor other than wine. Again, I was dissapointed. They actually make an "Old Fashioned" with wine! UGH! My one friend ordered a vodka with orange juice. They said they don't have orange juice. WOW.. Why have a liquor license at all? The other drink order was for a vodka tonic. OK $6 for the vodka and $4 for the tonic.... Really? We would have ordered wine, but in previous visits, we ordered different wines, and out of 4, the only nice one was a merlot. The Muscato wasn't even sweet! Now for the good news, the 5th visit I ordered the ribs. They were VERY GOOD. I feel the problem with their entrees is that they try too hard to be original with their own "spin" on recipies. They just don't make the grade. They need at least two or three entrees that are less adventuresome. If you have a steak, just cook a steak. Additional sauces don't enhance a good steak. If you have Spaghetti Bolognese, just make the spaghetti with meat sauce. It's perfectly ok to have other more adventuresome dishes, but please keep two or three to how everyone expects them to be. All in all, I hope they change their menu to provide a few more traditional dishes. And I hope they improve their wines, and if they keep a liquor license, please have a full bar.

If you're looking for the best venue to eat in the Canton area, look no further than Gervasi. They bring the total package of upscale setting, ambience, good service, great food and wide selection of in-house wines. If you're new to Gervasi, I highly recommend the wine flights were you can sample several different options before committing to a bottle. These won't be quite as refined as what you'll get from California or abroad, but very palletable for NE Ohio wine. During the summer months, the patio and grounds are an excellent place to relax, eat and drink. (Just be aware that the full menu is only available inside.) They grounds are massive and outdoor events such as weddings and boche ball are common. For the colder months, you'll want to eat inside and if lucky can be seated by one of the fireplaces. The interior has a beautiful outdoors theme, similar to a rustic lodge or cabin. In terms of food, I've tried a little of everything and haven't had a bad meal yet. This venue is perfect for couples, adult parties or business dinners. It's not ideal for small children, but you can certainly still bring them. If you're wanting to eat during a prime time, make sure to make your reservations well in advance. They are on OpenTable making it easy/ convenient to do so.

Made reservations for four. We did a tasting at our table before dinner. We took our time & enjoyed ourselves. The wines are quite good. Short ribs-dinner & mussel/calamari appetizer were excellent!! We had a wonderful time :)

Wow...talk about a knock out experience Gervasi is off the charts ! From the moment you turn into the winery from 55th street to the moment you leave the experience is awesome. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and the food is tremendous. It is so hard to believe that a winery of this caliber sits in Canton Ohio, put it on your list to visit and you won't regret your decision!

Decided to take some close area trips on vacation this year and decided to see what all the buzz about Gervasi was about. I was stunned! The grounds are beautiful. I can't say enough about this winery. I would expect to find this quality in Napa Valley...not at my backdoor in Ohio. Can not wait to take some of our friends for a visit.

If you want a first class dinning experience, look no farther. This gem is one of the premier dining establishments in the area. The out door patio in the summer is the place to be on a Sunday evening. Entertainment and light food service and a variety of wine and alcoholic beverages are available. You won't be disappointed.

We like to try local wineries. We had heard great things about Gervasi, so my husband and I decided to go one afternoon. The grounds and buildings are absolutely stunning! Since we were there in March, I can only imagine what it will be like in the summer. The wines were WONDERFUL! My husband and I each found a favorite or two. The wait staff was very attentive, informative and graciously answered any questions we had. We decided to try an appetizer at The Crush House as well, and it was also very delicious. Our server gave us the history of the property and the vision of the owners. She did recommend that if you have a special occasion for a weekend, make reservations at the Bistro a month or so in advance. We will certainly return to Gervasi and have dinner, as well as enjoy the entertainment on the Piazza. Highly recommend!

My wife and I take an annual overnight getaway to Gervasi. We stay in one of the luxury villas, have dinner at the Bistro, and stroll the grounds. It is always a great night away. I recommend it to all my married friends. Like most Ohio wineries, the wine is sweet and OK, but they have other brands available if you are a connoisseur. Good food, very nice accommodations. Not inexpensive all said, but well worth the getaway. Tip: Try to go before wedding season. They get full quickly, the shared common room with rowdy guests might be problematic, and I think they move to a 2-night minimum. We go in the winter or spring and have always had a nice time. At dinner, I ordered the salmon and was very pleased with it. My wife had the Halibut and also liked it. We'd recommend both.

The Crush House is separate from the bistro/formal dining area & was new in early 2014. Came on a Wednesday -- a pleasant surprise was a small band & I liked that they didn't sing/play NON-STOP so there were quiet moments to still converse.Ordered 2 appetizers: hummus & fig crostadas with a honey glaze. Both were PHENOMENAL & made on property. Hummus did not taste like anything store bought. The ice wine was worth buying but I had a Riesling that tasted like the $6 bottles of Barefoot. There was no sweet red & the Moscato that I wanted to try was not yet in season, so the wine really is a let down for me.Had 2 entrees: the special (shrimp w/ polenta cake & asparagus) was delicious & typical menu (Greek chicken mini-pasta bowl) was a bit salty for me. The portions aren't the largest so I think it's a bit overpriced given the quantity. There are 6 defferent flavors of gelato for dessert (& other desserts). This is not made on-site. Some flavors were typical (i.e. vanilla) while some were more unique. We tried the White Zinfandel Peach. It was pretty good, but I'm a bit spoilt having eaten it in Italy. The decor was very nice but I could definitely see this place filling up on a weekend evening. We made a reservation & I would definitely return. Service was dandy & ours helped recommend some meals. In my opinion, this is MUCH BETTER than Gervasi's bistro.

Awesome atmosphere! Beautiful inside , love the loft, but only eat an appetizer inside then move to the patio, food is much less expensive and the views are great. Reservations recommend. Food is good , wine flights let you find what you like
