We had a great experience here. We were staying in a hotel downtown, this was a pleasant drive to the "country" from there. We were matched up with agreeable horses. Given good instructions for our kids who had never ridden before. Our guides were very helpful and attentive. While they can't take credit for the weather, it was a beautiful day. The next time we return for a trip to Atlanta we will return for another ride

We visited Atlanta and wanted to try something different than average "tourist" stuff. My kids and I wanted to go horse back riding and have very little experience. We researched trail rides and quickly determined that Georgia Frontiers was going to be on our list of things to do. I called while still out of town and spoke with Roger, then owner an the one who provided us with laughter, levity and instruction. After a very safe and informative review for the entire family, (we all chose helmets) we headed off down the trail with two wonderful trail guides, Maureen and Susan were exceptional and very easy to talk with and became instant "friends" on the trail. The trail was various difficulties from small narrow trails in the gully up to the ridge. After accessing our comfort level, both Maureen and Susan allowed us to gallop, the entire family had a great and safe time. Both kids can't wait to visit again with our next visit to Atlanta. If you want a fun, safe time, don't miss a visit to Georgia Frontiers and say hello to Roger, he's a likable and easy going guy! If you're lucky, Maureen and Susan will be your guides.

Our group of about 15 had an absolutely GREAT time at Georgia Frontiers in Canton GA, which is about a 45 minute ride from Atlanta. We arrived at around 5pm, filled out waivers, and met the owner, Roger, and the two volunteers who rode the trails with us.Roger is absolutely wonderful! He explained to us that he was raised on horses, loves riding and caring for them, and shares that with you. His passion for horses is so natural, not fake at all!Roger pairs you up with the correct horse, shows you how to properly ride the horse, and sends you out with the friendly and knowledgeable trail guide volunteers. We had a fantastic time during the hour plus ride. Quiet trails, wonderful mountain views and so much fun. Roger and staff, along with my horse "Vegas" made this such a memorable night for us.After the ride, a large fire pit was set up we were treated to delicious barbeque with fixins from a local restaurant, and our group enjoyed sitting around and relaxing. This is definitely a place that I would recommend if you love riding, or if you have never mounted a horse before. I enjoyed it so much that I am planning another trip out to Georgia Frontiers before the summer ends!
