Our first stop was the gallery/gift shop. The two employees were extremely pleasant, offered information about the wares and artists, and allowed us to browse without hovering. Beautiful hand-crafted items including wood and glass vessels, ceramics, pressed flower and butterfly prints, stained glass, steam punk creations, and more. The highlight was the glass blowing demonstration in the garage behind the gallery, free and offered most Saturday afternoons. Don't be alarmed by the disorganization, just find the path to the "viewing area," which consists of plastic chairs approximately 15-20 feet from the furnaces. We watched the artist blow a vase from start to end and then the artist willingly answered questions. The only reason I am not giving this five stars was because when we first entered the garage, and for a large part of the demonstration, it felt uncomfortable to awkward. I did call in advance to make sure there would be a demonstration and the woman in the gallery happily encouraged our trek to the garage but I wasn't sure the artist was quite as keen? Frankly, I'm still puzzled. But overall, visit was educational and an Initially unenthusiastic 15 year old admitted it was interesting. Weather-appropriate attire is necessary to sit in the garage in the winter. Accessibility is limited.

Visited this place for the first time today. It's delightful. Very impressed with the quality and diversity of items. Found glassware, stone ware, jewelry, vases - even small decorative yet functional tables. There is an amazing amount of items in there. Owned by friendly husband and wife. When we walked in she asked if this was our first time and she gave us an overview of the wares. As we wandered about her husband came up to us and started showing us various pieces. It wasn't done in a sales kind of way but rather an explanation... you can tell they know each artisan. There is the 77 year old man who makes delicate wooden butterflies, or the 90 year old man who carved birds in a time honored tradition...he passed away this past year but his son carries on the tradition. What you spend here is of course entirely up to you. The pieces are not big box store prices but they do range. I personally found then to be well priced for Ohio handmade artisan items. There are of course some big ticket items (the metal bonsai trees were gorgeous) but there are things to suit all budgets. Most importantly the pieces feel touch-able. Some places you go into you can almost be afraid to touch the work or heaven forbid turn it over to see the price and decide if you want to sell your first born for it. There are handmade cards for a few dollars, housewares and decorative items range as well. It's certainly worth a look. Went with a relative after visiting the nearby tea room and we will be back before the holidays. I have two new stone ware cups and a beautiful raku vase/pot to add to my home!

We took our kids here and they found it very interesting. Very friendly owners and some VERY beautiful artwork displayed and for sale. Items are a bit spendy, but worth it in my book. Definitely worth a visit.
