If you are in southern Vermont in the summer or early fall and want a wonderful spot for a picnic area, Ward's Cove is it. It is at the end of Boyd Hill rd. (also a very scenic road) but remember as you come down Boyd Hill rd from Wilmington when it T's out, turn right to the picnic area). The gates are closed sometime in early fall, but you can still park and go down there. There are picnic tables, grills and a great little (rocky) beach. Fun for all and wonderful scenery. (the port-a-potties might not be there after September...I don't remember)
