What a surprise to find the Pie Shed, operated with an honor system money box. I was able to pick from the fruit or cream pies and drop my money in the money/box slot. I purchased a blueberry/peach pie with crumb topping and it was delicious. I would expect any other choice to be equally tasty and this is what some locals said was true.

Takeout only-- they aren't a restaurant. While they primarily bake for retail customers, they do have pies available from the pie shed on weekends. Their pies are terrific-- they are made onsite, form local ingredients when possible.They use the farmhouse system-- you pick the pie you want, and then put the money in the little drop box. We picked up a Cherry-Peach and a Key Lime Pie to take to Mom's for dinner-- they were both terrific!
