swanton historical society - the r.r. depot museum

I only had time to visit the Historical Society's room in the town library, but it is itself a small museum that is better than many small town museums. It also has archives and a staff that are excellent resources for researchers. I got to see the well maintained and organized exterior displays of the RR Depot Museum, and look forward to seeing the interior on my return. This is quality small town history and, for all they provide, they ask only for donations.
