I attended the golf school at Stratton 2 years in a row. This was my first time at golf school so I had nothing to compare it to. The first year I the 3 day program, which was a lot especially as the weather wasn't cooperative. Despite that I found the instruction very helpful and improved my game for the rest of the season. The instructor gave helpful tips and was able to get me to understand what the swing should feel like. Some of the physical takeaways were --a CD of your swing analysis with tips and drills, a little note pad to take notes on the things we learned so you could reference it later when you were on the course, and a golf towel. Second year was disappointing. We did a 2 day program. Unfortunately I didn't find the instructor to be very helpful. Kept asking "so what do you think? after a shot" I wanted to say I am paying you to tell me what you think. We didn't get a copy of our "swing analysis" nor a towel. It's basically like I never went to golf school. So much of it has to do with the instructor and you don't get to chose them unless you know who to ask for beforehand.

Four of us went up to take 3 days of the Golf School. That may have been a little over zealous. By the 3rd day I was sore and tired. We had an awesome instructor who helped all four of us with all our different problem areas. He really made our experience a very positive one. However, the facilities weren't very good. A very damaged green and large rocks in the sand trap.
