We stopped here on Valentine's weekend for a wine tasting. Unfortunately they ran out of the wine we wanted to purchase. We still purchased a different bottle. Nice stop in the area.

We went to Shelburne Vineyards for the tasting only. It was $7 and you were able to try all the wines available (around 10) and keep the tasting wine glass. The staff that did our tasting was very sweet, knowledgable and nice to chat with. The facility was beautiful. There was an upstairs loft space with seating and I wish we could have brought our tasting up there! I am a red wine drinker and a lot of the wines we tried were sweet and/or white, but I still enjoyed them. I especially liked trying the ice wine, which I have never had. Also, we found the location very convenient across from Fiddlehead brewery so everyone was happy!

The tour of the winery is very interesting and the tasting room set-up was excellent. We were able to sample a wide range of wines and to purchase those we particularly enjoyed.

We stopped for a tasting and got more than we bargained for. The tasting comprised of all of their current wines I believe 9 or ten! All for $7 and you get to keep the etched glass!?! To top it off we wanted another glass...they were $3!!!! Kala behind the counter was all knowing as she even worked the vineyards. Answered all our questions was very pleasant and made the tasting fun. As a bonus the owner was taking some on a tour and we were able to join. This started out as a hobby for him but quickly escalated to a full time vineyard and the wine was very good as well.I should quantify that as the whites were good, reds were just so so, but that is to be expected in states like NY and Vt. After the tasting we enjoyed a glass of our favorite on the deck just outside as it was nice and sunny. Highly recommend this as a stop if your looking for something to do while in Burlington.

While up in Vermont, we went to 2 vineyards and Shelburne Vineyard was by far the best tasting wines we had tried. The standard tasting procedure was done and we also were able to try the ice wine the had. Nice but one sip was enough very sweet. Glad we had the opportunity to try it though. We ended up liking several of their wines unlike the vineyard we tried. Note-it is across the street from Fiddlehead brewery (has a pizza restaurant inside) and not to far far Magic Hat, so give yourself time and try them all out in one visit.

We were fortunate enough to have one of the owners for our tour. He was extremely informative. We found the tour very informative. The wine tasting was only $7 and you got to keep the souv glass. This was a great stop for us.

We decided to visit this vineyard while spending a few days in Vermont and I'm so happy we did! This by far was the highlight of our trip! The grounds and facility were well kept/clean. The staff was very knowledgable; wine tasting was only $7, plus we were given the glass we did our tasting in. Hello bargain! Also, the wine wasn't so bad either, we may or may not have walked out of there buying 6 bottles of wine each. We weren't planning on spending so much money, but regret is an ugly thing and we don't regret our visit to Shelburne Vineyard! Cheers!!

I have to admit I am a bit of a wine snob. Given that omission you should be surprised to hear that I was blown away by the variety and quality of Shellburne's wines. They have developed some of the cold weather varietals to the point that they rival their California cousins. If you are interested in wonderful wine then add this to you list. I believe it will be one of those surprising finds that becomes a regular choice for your table.

There are choices for tasting and both are budget friendly. The wines were all very good but the Rose was my favorite. The showroom was spacious and tours of the vineyard are available. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

We enjoyed tasting 10 wines for $7 (you keep the glasses!). Five whites, four reds and an ice wine. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We purchased a few bottles to enjoy at home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. As others said, the tasting was $7, with eight wines and you keep the glass. The wines were what you would expect if you had visited other cold weather vineyards. Better whites than reds, especially for the price. The staff were great, friendly and conversant on the wines and the grapes used. They were having music and food that night, but we could not say for the event. The building is a really nice space. Go there, if on Rte worth the visit.

We did a wine tasting for 2. It was fun - we tried about 6 or 7 wines and got to keep the glasses. Makes a nice souvenir.

I visited Shelburne Vineyard for the wine tasting and tour. I tasted 11 wines for $7 and that includes a souvenir wine glass. All of the wines were delicious. After the tasting, I bought a glass of wine and was able to take it with me on the tour of the vineyard. The tour guide was knowledgable and was able to answer the questions we asked. It was an interesting tour and it was fun to learn about how wine is made. I recommend visiting if you're in the area!

We went to Shelburne Vineyard on a rainy day. It was wonderful. Did a wine tasting for 7.00. I believe we tasted 11 different wines. The staff was very good at explaining things to us. They give you a card to make notes on if you want to purchase anything. (We purchased 7 bottles!) They also take you in the back to show the winemaking process. It was pouring out so we could not walk out into the vineyard but was able to get a nice view from their covered deck. A very enjoyable afternoon. Very nice people.

Enjoyable staff. Beautiful setting and the wine & cheese tasting was good, yet a little pricey $15 for 4 tastes of wine and 4 very small bites of cheese .The other option was tasting of the 11 different varieties they are currently serving for $7.50.Had I done more research this would have been a nice way to spend the day visiting all the vineyards in the area.
