We did our second run of this trip in December. We had done the trip in the summer and wanted to compare the views. Both were educational and thrilling rides. The guides know their stuff, make it intersting and help people of all levels of comfort make the complete trip. While you could see farther in the winter, it was less fun because you do not move around a lot to keep blood flowing. The summer was just as exciting, but more enjoyable. It is one of the best rides you can do.The obstacle challenge course is one of the best I have tried out and I was told they are adding even more elements this spring. You definitely get your money's worth out ot a trip with ArborTrek!

The canopy zip line tour was a great experience. It was safe, educational, and a lot of fun!I really appreciated the attention to safety throughout the tour. The guides ensure that all gear is properly fitted, and everything was in excellent condition. Before the tour begins, everyone receives a lesson on a training zip line that's just a few feet off the ground. It's a great way to get comfortable and ensure proper technique before embarking on the real deal (don't worry if it's your first time, you only need to remember a few simple things). The zip line tour itself takes place in the woods. You'll start from platforms anywhere from 20 - 40 feet off the ground and zip between the trees. The eight zip lines are varying lengths (~ 200 - 1000 feet) and speeds (moderate to fast). You'll also cross over two bridges (one short, one longer) and rappel twice from a platform to the forest floor (approx. 20 feet down). With seven people plus two guides in our group, the tour took approximately 2.5 hours from start to finish. The entire tour was so much fun. The scenery is gorgeous (woods, stream, mountains in the background) and the longer zip lines really give you a chance to take it all in. I really liked how the zip lines started out shorter and slower and increased in length and speed as the tour went along. The rappelling and bridges added an extra dimension. Our guides for the tour, Chris and Jake, were excellent. They were friendly, professional, and focused on safety. They took the time to get to know people in the group, answer questions, and make the tour as comfortable and fun as possible for everyone involved. My girlfriend had never zip lined before and was a bit anxious, and they totally made her feel at ease (and she was so glad she did it!).The guides shared some interesting knowledge about the local area and environment (it is an eco-tour, after all). They also took plenty of photos, which ArborTrek posts on Facebook immediately after the tour (other zip line tours I've been on charge for these, so I really liked having access at the photos for no extra charge).I would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone considering it, whether or not you've zip lined in the past. I would definitely do it again!

This was our first zipline a couple of years ago. It was amazing then and our most recent visit lived up to our memories and expectations! We've zipped in Idaho, Gatlinburg, Hot Springs, and even in the MegaCavern in KY... But this is by far the best we have experienced. The scenery is spectacular, the guides are friendly and helpful, and the price is reasonable for the length of the tours - we got 8 zips, 2 bridges, and 2 rappels. This tour is the only one we have done where you are responsible for line braking but there is clear instruction on how to execute and I actually prefer that to some of the other places we have been where you abruptly slap into a line brake with a loud POP. These are some of the longest lines we've ever been able to do and it is quite a thrill. You'll need to dress appropriately and plan on being out for 2-3 hours (no bathroom, water, or food once you head out!). It was wicked cold when we went - so we were thinking about layers to stay. warm, having goggles, and such. I am sure other considerations are relevant for other seasons (sunscreen, bug spray, etc). We are repeat visitors and would highly recommend it!

Despite the rain, our treetop obstacle course adventure was really fun. My afraid-of-heights husband even made it through. The guides were nice and there was a good variety of obstacles with a range of difficulty levels.

Chris & Nate took our group of 8 and made this zip lining tour the best! My two sons ( 10 & 12) thought the experience was awesome. Cole even enjoyed his hip bump to get him started on each run! My mom came and did the course, something she added to her bucket list. Everyone was very happy with the tour, can't wait to try it again!

I was worried about the weather prior to booking and it did turn out to be a rainy day but we couldn't have had more fun. It is beautiful, exhilarating and just a blast. My 12 year old daughter and I loved it. Zipping was the best but repelling and rope bridges were fun too. Guides were great and took some great pictures, much appreciated. We plan on going back this winter.

My friend & I reserved the 10 am zip line trip. Hope & Tom were our guides. What a wonderful adventure! I am afraid of heights & they made sure that I was comfortable every step of the way & made it fun for everyone. They were knowledgable about the geography & history of the area as well as the environment. They were very informative & also personable. Hope & Tom took pictures throughout the tour & the pics were posted to Facebook later in the day. Nice little bonus!I am a local & only recently heard about Arbor Trek. I highly recommend this tour.

We did the 2 1/2 hour zip line tour. Our guides were knowledgeable about the environment and area. We had a blast as we zipped through the tree tops.

Ok so working on conquering my fear of heights, thought this would help. Javier and Kalin were very patient. Ziplining was awesome, sitting in the harness before leaving the platform helps to trust equipment. Rappelling was another story- had a hard time inching to the edge of the platform, Javier walked me through it with calm clear instructions.....still here to write a review. What a fantastic way to see the fall foliage and what a great feeling- I did it!

I had never tried Zip lining before, and I had a great time! Josh and Nash were our guides and they were very patient, very safety conscious, funny, relaxed and friendly. The whole experience was an adventure. Beautiful scenery, a great selection of lines. They had a great sense of how to make you feel secure and comfortable. I took a little time to breathe on the bridges, and managed ok on the repels! By the last line I was really soaring and "wha-hoo-ing" my way to the platform and was told by one of the other participants that I looked like a "little kid at Christmas". They take and post photos for you to download and keep, too, which is fun. I just turned 50 this year and can't wait to try this again.

One of my favorite zipline experiences ever. Good lines, pretty scenery, nice staff. We even repelled off of two of the platforms. Super fun and exciting.

Amy and Alex were great guides. The pictures they took will keep this experience alive for a long time. Our group had people from the 70s to the teens. All did well.

Amy and Jon are excellent tour guides! They made it a fun experience for everyone, paid attention to our needs, making the ziplining exciting adventure - even through our minor panic attacks. Appreciated their concern and education about the environment.
