brewster river pub & grill

Cool little pub right down the road from Smuggler's Notch Resort. We stayed at Smuggs for a long weekend of skiing and visited the pub twice for takeout. The food was all very fresh and well made. Orders were correct and ready when we arrived for pickup. We got the grilled chicken, which was really very good. The Pulled pork was just ok and the roll was soggy, but in fairness, that may have been because of the takeout. The pub was very busy on Friday night and there was a live band playing upstair in the bar area. People were dancing and having a good time.Next time we will go in for dinner.

This was our second visit to the Pub and we weren't disappointed. My caprese sandwich with arugula salad was delicious. Fresh mozzarella was creamy and the salad was balanced. Two of my sons had burgers cooked perfectly and served with a side of crispy fries. My youngest son had a Reuben ang my husband went with the steak and cheese. Bot were very happy with their selections which also came with fries. While the decor is lacking the service is great and the staff is friendly. Both of our visits were during vacation and we will eat here again when we come up in January.
