Two different nines, the front is open and wide while the back is more challenging with hills. The course grows on you. We were there for three days and still had not mastered it! Not sure if the Vermont open is still played here in June it used to be. The fall this course is gorgeous! The horticulturist is wonderful! Beautiful flowers through out!

Lake Morey Resort and Golf Club lies just off Interstate 91 in Fairlee, VT. The golf course has been a favorite of ours for years, with it's quick pace of play, it's challenging holes, and the friendly proshop and maintenance staff. The fairways are often lined with tall pines that will catch errant shots and cost you strokes if you aren't lucky enough to get a member's bounce. Par is 71 with 5 par threes (two of 200+ yards) and three par 5s ( long and uphill, long and downhill, and just long!) . The course is undergoing some changes on holes that have been getting flooded lately, but it doesn't interfere (much) with play. If you're only interested in playing on pristine courses, Lake Morey is not for you. but if you enjoy a challenge in the bracing air of eastern central Vermont, taking in the gorgeous views from several mountaintop tees, this is a great bargain for golfers of any level. The Lake Morey Resort is across the street and on the lake, so you can come and stay while enjoying the golf. We are lucky enough to vacation close by.
