chimney point state historic site

This is a small house museum, not very expensive, and will take you less than an hour. It has historical exhibits, and you learn the significance of the place in the country's early days. We found the bridge exhibit very interesting. They have displayed some of the artifacts they found when they were digging to rebuild the nearby bridge that crosses Lake Champlain at this very narrow point. If you are in the area it's worth stopping by for a short visit.

The other side has ruins in Crown Point and the Vermont side has nothing. The view is picuture perfect towards the NY side.
