Just be aware that the tour of the winery is via a video. The winery is one very large wine-themed gift shop. The wine tasting is free and you get some wines that they choose and a few that you can choose. They have a huge variety of tropical flavored and fruit flavored wines. They also provide you with a couple of sample of frozen drinks. I particularly loved the citrus flavored wines. They have these wines in a sweet and a dry version. Wine snobs might turn up their noses at the fruity wine, and especially at the wine individual servings in a juice box. Wines are not too expensive. Shipping wine is costly, The person serving the wine was friendly and helpful. She also helped us pick out some places to eat on the beach.

Showed up on the coldest day Tampa had ever had on that date to find warmth and friendliness at this wine outlet! We were given no less that 20 samples, great descriptions of the wine and discussion about each one! The wines were great, varied and enjoyed! The wine attendant was more than happy to be there and enjoyed the tasting almost as much as we did! There was no hard sell (In fact we were told we didn't even have to buy anything!), just an enjoyable time! We were thrilled, and ended up talking to other patrons and we decided to buy 16 different bottles! The seller arranged shipment, payment and got our information quickly and offered us more wine while we stood there! The wine arrived just 4 days later, unbroken, and shipped in these neat padded packages! Loved the place, wine and people of this vendor! It didn't seem like we were even buying anything! Go there! Try their wine, buy their wine and enjoy! We did! Bob & Julie

I had read a lot about this place and was really looking forward to wine sampling unique wines. As I walked in, I was impressed with the store. A lot is packed in there and some really different gift ideas. It is obvious that they sell a lot of wine.I approached the wine tasting counter and waited, looking over their sampling. Unfortunately they were out of the grapefruit wine. I asked if they had any for sale and response was "if we had it for sale, we would have it to sample". Ok, fair enough, but I think it could have been said in a friendlier way! I chose a wine to sample, it was poured, and server promptly walked away. He didn't tell me anything about the wine, where it was made, nothing. It was much too sweet for me, so I waited for him to come back so I could try a different one. Finally had to call him back (he was at other end of counter, but not with another customer). He poured my second sample and again walked away. This too was too sweet. Again I called him back and asked if all their wines were sweet. He advised the pinot was not. I asked for a sample of that, liked it, and asked to purchase a bottle. He rang up sale. He did thank me as I put a tip in the jar. While my wine tasting experience was sub par, this is a cool shop & recommend you stop in & look around. Sample some wine, if you like sweet wine. They also sell a wine slushies. I didn't try it, but saw a lot of people walking around with them looking like they were enjoying them!

I loved this place. One of the highlights of my entire trip. Margaret was our wine tasting person and she was such a doll. We tried every wine on their menu (for free) and a few that weren't. They were good (not your 'normal' wine, but still delicious). The wine slushy I had after the tastings was seriously amazing. If I ever go back to Florida, I'll definitely be back.

We love visiting wineries and this was a good one...one of the reasons was Christiana! Totally sweet and friendly....and was knowledgeable about the types and listened to what we liked...we bought 6 bottles!!!!

First and foremost...the wine. I tried samples of all the wine they have. There is not a bad one in the bunch! They also have many wine accessories, as well as a HUGE selection of hot sauces! The service was just so-so. Nobody greeted us when we came in. We also walked around for about ten minutes and nobody said a word to us. Walk up to the bar where you can sample the wine and had to ask the first guy if we could sample. There was another gentlemen who should up a few minutes later who I went back to for a few more samples that I didn't try the first time. He was at least a little more pleasant. If you like wine, go here. If you want the whole experience of people excited about their job and want to walk you through a winery and actually talk to you, then this place is lacking.

Basically this is an ACTUAL winery that for all but 4 Florida wines, they import the ingredients to make the wine here.Of the 4 Florida wines, the ORWI (orange wine) was actually the best with the grapefruit wine (GRAWI) coming in 2nd. Both delightful for refreshing, lightly sweet wines. Not your typical sweet wines you would expect. Remember, this is a "Florida" wine and therefore you must set your expectations but we wanted to try a real local product and were really happy when we did. They have free tastings of the product so you can sample it first and the service was excellent.

Didn't really look at the wines but bought lots of hot sauces! If you are a fan of hot sauce you must visit here as the choices are staggering

This has become our favorite little spot on Johns Pass. They will let you sample a bunch of different kinds of wines. Its really nice. Then they have this deal where you get 3 bottles for 33 bucks. Not bad at all. The best part is that you can buy your wine, either a glass or a bottle or a few bottles and then you can drink them right out front! They have a bunch of tables and they will open the wine for you before you go outside. You get you a table, pour you some wine and just enjoy Johns Pass and the beautiful Florida weather!

Wife and daughter enjoyed the wine tasting and bought 3 bottles to take home. Great tasting wine at reasonable price. On the strip of shops in Johns Pass. Sit on patio and enjoy a glass of wine.

This place is a shop located at John's Pass (not an actual winery facility) that sells their own fruit wines and Florida souvenirs, hot sauces, cigars, eclectic fun gifts, etc. There is a wine bar inside though where you can taste their wines (free, but tips accepted) before you purchase and also buy frozen wine drinks (and beer I believe) to enjoy at the Adirondack chairs and tables outside.

I'm not actually a big fan of wine but this place is great. There are some unique choices of wine and beer. We've been to this area twice in the last year and always stop in for a couple of bottles to take home.

My husband and I have always loved wine, especially sweet wines. This place has such a big variety of flavored sweet wines! The Strawberry Riesling is my favorite. You can get 3 bottles for $33. They also have wine ice cream (sounds gross but its delicious!) and drinks that are kind if like daiquiris with wine in them. This was my favorite place at John's Pass!! Such a great discovery! The prices are fantastic!
