Sometimes you can be he only one on the beach...but during season, this park becomes the go-to spot for tourists and can be too much for the person who wants some relaxation time. You will need to walk a ways past the resort umbrellas, going North to find a quiet spot to hang out. Beach is pretty clean, smoking on the beach was banned a few years ago, but there is still litter. Good or finding seashells after high tide.

Going on a week in the late afternoon, I guess I got lucky and found very few people around; certainly no homeless people. The location was perfect as I was staying the Fairfield Inn across the street. If you're hungry or need a drink, there's a couple of beach front options at Mulligans Beach House within quick walking distance. Tranquil and beautiful as you can see from the picture.

Great place to swim. You can walk to T-shirt shops and restaurants and pier. Right now it is still under construction (new Lake Worth Casino being rebuilt). Parking is by metered parking using a credit card. Be careful, meter maid is always around!!

Great value for cheap parking, and lots of it. Nice big beach with lots of facilities and closeby restaurant, walkable. Across the street is a nice shopping plaza with great ice cream.

Same great beach park but note that the parking fee has doubled to $2 p/hour. Not bad since a little over a mile to the north, the Town of Palm Beach operates a similar public beach facility with parking at $5 p/hour. Across the street to the south of Kreusler Park, the Town of Lake Worth (on the ocean) begins, and they are in the midst of a major waterfront renovation that will include public facilities and a couple of shops. This is due to be completed in 2012.

Looking for a perfect beach with outdoor showers, convenient parking, clean restrooms for changing and the safety of a life-guarded beach? This is it. Parking is $1 an hour with coins or debit/credit card. There is even a palm tree shaded park with benches too. If you like, the boardwalk starts here and it is an easy stroll down to the fishing pier. This place is awesome!
