I did not know there were so very many flavors of these things as we do not use these products the variety was lost on us now my cousin who lives in France would be in heaven. The people who run the shop sure seem to know their stuff and are happy to educate the uninformed like myself

My Husband and I decided to shop local again this year and we chose Ancient Olive. The owners are very helpful and knowledgeable of their products. We are sending selected gifts to six families and bought a few items for ourselves. We would recommend visiting this shop. It is delightful!

Ancient Olive is a specialty food shop, featuring extra virgin olice oil and balsamic vinegar. Much more common in Europe, such specialty food shops cater to the most discerning shoppers for quality food. They feature free tastes of everything. On our visit they put out a delightful goat cheese and fig jam taste, mango hot sauce and tortilla chips, and dijon mustard and cracker. They celebrate their certification by the International Olive Oil Council, and give personal attention to the shopper's interests. They also feature all sorts of pasta and many other quality dishes.

New shop in The Villages. Located in Lake Sumter Landing. One wall is lined with infused vinegars and one wall of infused olive oils. You get to taste each and can ever mix the oils and vinegars together. There are other items there for the tasting. The staff is very knowledgeable about all the different oils and vinegars. The staff is also very courteous and friendly and willing to assist you in the purchase of the oils and vinegars.
