If we've missed a film as first run either before we arrive in Florida or even while we are here, we can usually catch it here. It's old-fashioned, not stadium seating, clean and well run, with an older crowd (we're among them). But the biggest draw is probably the $4.00 tickets (except on Tuesday when it's $2.00)There is also the attraction that they frequently show indie movies that never make it to the chain theaters.

You go here if you're a movie buff on a budget. The theater has definitely seen better days, yet the price is sensational ($4 most days). The seating is serviceable and the popcorn decent and over[riced, but not as much as a chain theater place. The movies are almost first run and it''s a great place to catch a movie you wanted to see and missed it.

Okay, so the place is old. And it's worn down. Currently the lights of the since say TRAC IN and that's out of a total of TAMARAC CINEMA....so, yep, it's seen better days. The bathrooms? Well, you're better off going elsewhere...and the crew? Not super smiley. HOWEVER...that said...you pay four bucks to see a movie on the big screen. There are no "bells and whistle" seats...but they are adequate and have cup holders...so if you're not afraid to go old school...you'll benefit from paying old school prices. I've not tried it on a Tuesday but on Tuesdays the movies are a buck and a half. The popcorn is tasty. Six bucks for a large split between five people and there was popcorn to spare. The bulk of the four comes from the value pricing.
