A group of us (parents and kids) scheduled a weekend ride, none of us knowing what to expect, none of us ever ridden a horse before, and to our enlightenment, it was a total hoot! With the exception of a sore butt or two the next day, everyone had a great time. The horses looked well taken care of, were well mannered, and it was like they knew exactly where to go and what to do.The staff appeared very knowledgeable, were patient and courteous. We were given a small demonstration on riding safety and how to control the horse and everyone were offered helmets. The equipment was checked several times before we went out. We were provided an experienced guide and because of our large group and young kids, we were accompanied by two guides. This was a huge comfort considering all of us were newbies. And when it was all over, we were offered complimentary bottled water to drink and a place to wash our hands. The kids were having a great time petting some of the other animals that live there. All in all, we would do it again in a heart beat!

If you are looking for a place for horse riding lesson for your child or yourself, this is an excellent place. We had an amazing time as a family while our 6 year old had her very first horse riding lesson. While she was learning and practicing, we the parents and our toddler was busy taking pictures and playing with the well cared for, friendly animals around us. This is a charming place and Roxanne is a great teacher. We look forward to weekly lessons.

Unless there has been a serious change in management recently keep away. Sick cats and other animals running around everywhere. Could be a lot better if they took care of the place. And cut back on the number of animals.

We had a great time riding the horses at Red Fox Stables. The staff was very helpful in showing us proper handling and a demonstration before we headed out. The preserve was very scenic and the horses were great. We got to see deer and some wild pigs!
