Great place to relax, play in the sun and sand, collect sea shells and sharks teeth. Also the Jacksonville pier is great fishing too!

Very nice clean beach and the crowds were very small. The water is still too cold in early March but at least you have a nice wide beach and plenty of crashing waves to listen to while you soak up some sun. It certainly beat the snow, ice and freezing temps I was destined to return home to.

Jax Bch is a nice place to visit, beach free of cars, family friendly, I got married there in 1990, the venue has long been replaced, 1st street is nice for bike riding, rollerblading, if it's still allowed, lots of good places to eat, and drink, nice night life, there's always live music somewhere.

Beautiful sand as far as your eyes can see. What more could you ask of a beach. We were unlucky to visit this wonderful place when the temperature was 46 degrees i am sure it is more fun when it is warmer.

Very clean and relaxing. During my February stay, it was a bit cold and breezy, therefore, I will have to make reservation again during the summer time.

Beautiful views, great waves, and a wonderful destination to relax. The main road leading to the beach is full of different shops and eateries to fit your needs. There are also a few nice beach front hotels as well. There is also a Joe's Crab Shack on the beach if you are a seafood lover.

This is a long, well maintained pier. Great for fishing ($4) or just sightseeing ($1). I am often out on this pier often, Beautiful, beach, surfers, and sometimes, real good fishing!

Gorgeous white sands and long pier to walk out. The streets are brick and lots of shops and restaurants.

I live here and have retired here. I wondered for many years where I would choose to retire and then realized that I was already living in my retirement home. Jacksonville Beach is clean, well run, safe and offers many forms of entertainment aside from the obvious oceanfront experience.

When I arrived to Jax from Detroit I spent a Saturday at the beach... it was hot , the water clear and beautiful. taking in the sites ... going for a dip and just sitting there was a cool experience.

Beach has high life guard stand with firestation and EMS right next door. Sand is beautiful. Not crowded in February.

Jax Beach is very in-between, just like its location. The beach is nice, the restaurants are pretty good, there is a definite funkiness if you look hard enough. It is low-key and low attitude.

I LIVE on the beach and am not permitted to take my dog..this was a treat. Would come back simply to have pet friendly beach!
