alpaca magic usa

I took my 5 year old daugher hear to give her some exposure to Alpaca's, since she had never seen one. After driving by the entrance about 4x (look for the "plants for sale signs" we were greeted by the fine folks here. They explained to us how Alpaca's think and how to treat them. For example they do not like being touched on the head, because that's where the predators would try to get a hold of them. My daughter was then invited in to the store, to see how their fur was turned into yarn, and then given a Alpaca coloring book. Thanks for taking the time to make my daughter feel special. Oh yeah she also loved KiKi the resident kitty. Depending on what you want to get out of it, I would plan for a 30-60 minute trip. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the Homosassa area.

What a lovely place! You can tell the love of the owners towards their alpacas and their garden. It is very clean and they are very friendly. The alpacas are simply beautiful. I couldn't leave without purchasing a few of their sedum they have for sale. Definitely worth the trip. Thank you from Spartanburg SC!

Fun place with many alpaca to visit. There is a store with various alpaca goods (caps, wraps, sweaters, even yarn) and many plants for sale at a reasonable price. Interesting place to poke around and enjoy these funny beasts. Owners are welcoming and informative.

I had my first visit to Alpaca Magic 2 weeks and what a treat it was. The Alpacas were super cute and friendly and we got to pet and hug them. Wonderful laid back one on one Alpaca experience on a Floridian farm. The garden is rambling and well worth a stroll through. A visit to the store is a must, the only problem is there such a wide choice of home crafted goods with wool that is spun at the farm and enhanced by the farm designer into unique gifts and "must haves" it is impossible to choose what item to bring home. I will be back especially when i need a special gift.

We visited because we are interested in adding alpaca to our acreage. Jean was such a wonderful hostess. Her alpaca are fun for the whole family to see and spend time with and her gardens are magical. Great shop where her daughter crafts many beautiful alpaca fiber works of art. This would be an excellent school trip.

We loved seeing all the alpacas and the lovely plants that they sold. It was a very interesting place. The plants for sale were very reasonable and I have never seen these anywhere.

My husband, 2 kids (ages 9 an 11) and I went to the Alpaca Magic Farm last week. We had such a nice time. We called in advance and were greeted to a tour of the farm when we arrived. The owners and staff who work there obviously love their animals, because they come running when they are called way out in the field!They even let both of my daughters walk an alpaca on a leash! It was the highlight of the visit. :)They also have a nice gift store with hand-made items and peruvian items made from alpaca wool.Definitely worth a visit..but you must call first.

Just visited again today! Anytime my grand kids are here they want to see the Alpacas! The visit is very enjoyable and relaxing since you have to be still to let the young ones come to you! Good learning opportunity for kids and grownups alike in this busy life! Really nice gift shop and lots of unusual plants for sale! Jean is so knowledgeable and so obviously caring for the alpacas. If you spend some time just listening and watching you see their individual personalities and get to know them by name!

Visited with a group from the local community, and we throughly enjoyed our day. Very informative, and a chance to be "up close, and personal" with these wonderful animals. Very friendly with some coming right up to you and nuzzling your hands. Loved it!
