My husband and I went there one night of our trip and the people were very rude and acted as if we weren't welcome. There were only men and literally on our way out a patron shoved at my husband trying to initiate a scuffle. We decided not to go back. The next week a man my husband works with went there and was jumped almost killed. The crowd is unsavory and since this is obviously an ongoing problem they should get security to stop these kinds of things. Visit the tiki bar at Roland martins marina instead, it may save your life.

Nice little dive bar in a bulding which used to be a bank -- they keep backstock liquor in the old safe! Sometimes smokey...but it's a bar...so that goes with the territory. Friendly locals and bartenders, a pool table, sports on TV. They do not serve food, but you can walk across the street and pick up good fried chicken; they're fine if you bring it back to the bar. We've always felt welcomed when we stop in, though we're from out of town.
