My son loves to visit this place when we visit the area. Lots of vendors with various merchandise. He likes the vintage toys. I go for the fresh produce that is very reasonable. The dancing poodles and tight rope walking cats are entertaining too. You can feed gators while you are there too. This is your average flea market merchandise, not high end items, but it is an entertaining day. Admission is free and so is parking.

We saw a TV ad for the Market and drive over to check it out. There are the usual booths selling t shirts, leather goods, books, home wares, etc. For us, the best section was the fresh produce area. We loaded up on fresh oranges, grapefruit, strawberries, tomatoes and cauliflower. We had fun shopping and are glad we made the trip.

Great place to visit in the winter. I wouldn't recommend going in the summer though as the heat can be overwhelming unless you're used to it. Lots of interesting things to look at and buy. A great way to spend part of a Sunday.

Ok so I live down the road from this place and visit the animal rescue way in the back regularly as my son loves the baboon I donate old blankets and fruit there when I can as well its 3 dollars to get in and kinda creepy cause its basically just fencing keeping wolves and tigers from eating you but anyway its cool then the flea market has tons of booths from sunglasses and t shirts to African herbs and healing creams and weapons they have a virus show daily but don't get your hopes up this is no swap shop Miami its basically a British clown and a lady with dancing poodles but hey my kid thinks its cool inside they have a gator feeding area it smells and the poor gators are miserable my son tried to feed them but they never eat the hotdogs its a waste of 2 bucks... As for food the mini doughnut place is heaven and the baked potato and roast corn stand is just meh the cheese is cheap and the "bacon" is salad style soy bacon bits yuck everything else seems kinda gross and filled with flying insects so we avoided it though the Montes taco place doesn't seem as bad and always has a long line of hungry people waiting for food I'd say if your looking for kitschy and possibly tapeworm this place is for you seriously though its kinda fun and cheap so check it out

Was a pretty good experience with lots to see and buy. My best part was all the fresh produce and very reasonably priced. Good variety of things to buy. Just needs to be cleaned up some. Liked seeing the alligators, etc. can spend a good afternoon there.

We really enjoyed the Market Place, lots of vendors. Wear comfortable shoes - a lot of walking needed to see all the stuff. They have lots of food, ice cream, and other goodies. There's even a circus for the kids (we did not stay for that).

There are flea markets and there are flea markets but this one in Auburndale is well laid out and with an overabundance of vendors selling everything from A to Z. I usually like to buy new baseball caps every year when we come down to the Lakeland area for the winter and here is where I get very good ones for between $3. and $5.. Good place to buy watches under $10.00 and if you need new batteries for them they are $3. installed. There is also a huge farmer's market with numerous vendors selling piles of fresh fruits and veggies. We come to this section once every two weeks to stock up. There is plenty of parking and several booths offering hot food items.

Read there information on the web. It said 1200 venders under one roof. Not, not even close. Maybe is should read room for 1200 venders. There was no where near that, sadly disappointing. Drove over from St.Petersburg to check it out. There are some nice booths, but there are also some really run down looking spots. The outside booths are under pop up type garages with trap roofs and they really hold the Florida heat in. This place is not worth driving too far to get to. It's kind of out in no mans land, not much around it and a drive from Rt 4. It may have been nice years ago but now I wouldn't suggest it. They have some alligators in pens but they are in the same room with a bounce house and inflatable slide and you have to fight you way back to them through the kids play area. There are far better out there.
