My friends and I visited on the Halloween weekend party. Lucky for us. Our tour guide, looking like a child of the vineyard dressed in a plaid dress and boots with a hat on, started us out in the vineyard where a bride & groom had been for hundreds of years. Cool. As the tour train continued she was very informative and fun. We learned about wine making process and bottleling. We then we're taken to the barrel room where we enjoyed music and lots more wine. Our tour guide Jackie WAS GREAT. Hope to see her again at Christmas open house. Go visit the vineyard and Jackie for lots of fun and lots of wine.

I went here with my fiancé and a friend. We each had a wine flight (choice of 3-4oz wines) for $10. It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon and a musician was playing on his guitar. The settling and wine were our favorite part of our day trip to Galena. I would highly recommend the Mead wine!

We enjoyed our trip to this winery. The tour was interesting. They had great variety of wines at reasonable prices. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The patio was a great place to enjoy wine and take in the scenic views!

Stopped by on our way out of town and found the tasting room nearly empty--worked with a very knowledgeable server to find 10 interesting tastes for $5! "Dry" reds and ports were great, and some of the fruit wines are delightfully refreshing rather than cloying. Enjoyed small glasses on the porch before heading home--would have been nice to have a few snacks available, since you have to drive to this location.

Great view great staff . Great wine ! The staff works very hard there run run run. . Seems to be not enough people working .but all had a smile on there face and seemed to love there job !It was very busy !But I'll give it 5 stars . Tip the ladies well !

The vineyard is a beautiful and fun place to visit! The tasting room employees are very friendly and will help you pick the perfect wine to purchase or sample. They offer chilled bottles that you may purchase and enjoy on the beautiful deck. They offer premade cheese trays or as we like to call them adult lunchables. They have crackers and blocks of cheese to purchase as well. And even supple cutting boards and cheese knives. The view from the wrap around deck is outstanding! They offer a variety of special events throughout the year all posted to their website.

We randomly stopped by the vineyard on our way back to Galena from Apple River and it was such a great experience. We did a wine tasting then purchased a few bottles of wine, some cheese, crackers and summer sausage and all hung out in their lawn. They have a beautiful view. Perfect relaxing afternoon. Delicious wine too!

The tasting room was very crowded when we arrived but we found a spot for two and proceeded to taste. If you want knowledge on the wines, I would suggest waiting until you have some one on one time because basically they just asked what we wanted and poured. The variety is very good and price reasonable. Following our tasting we enjoyed a glass of our favorite on the veranda enjoying the countryside view. Very comfortable -- I'd go again.

Very interesting and fun tour of this winery. The wine tasting was informative, and the Reisling was delicious. Definitely put it on your list of things to do in Galena.

It was a good 5 dollars spent we learned about the way they made their wines as well as got to sample the wines and were taught a 5 step process for tasting we will go back!!

We were impressed with the wide variety ofwines they produced. The tour was short, but interesting. The winery is located about 10-15 min outside of Galena, and the drive out there is beautiful. Fun thing to do when visiting Galena.

We did the visit and tasting at their retail store downtown. LOTS of wines to choose from. Even two tastings wasn't enough to try them all. If fruity and sweet is what you like, they have many to choose from. But the regular reds and whites are also amazing. Stop by and taste for yourself.

I have toured other vineyards before, but always find it interesting to see how each one is different. We arrived 30 minutes early for the tour, so we did a wine-tasting first. That was fun and the server was nice and knowledgeable. The tour was interesting and informative. They have a nice porch and seating if you would like to relax and enjoy a glass of wine as well. Wine is tasty and we ended purchasing some to take home with us.

My wife and I bought the wine tasting, 6 wines, but after great conversation with the owner, turned into 14, there were only 2 we did not like and 10 we could not leave without. Don't miss this vineyard.

They give you a taste of some great wines.. bought a few for home...nice outside porch to enjoy...out of town but well worth the trip.. this is our second time and will go back on our next visit to Galena...
