We went to this place on a bus trip for a friend's birthday. There was about 10 of us and it was recommended by the husband of the birthday girl. Everyone on this bus loved country (not me), so I was along for the party. When we first got there, it was confusing how it was set up. Is this a restaurant or club? Apparently, it's both - and they're BUSY as hell being both too! We didn't get seated right away, but most of us didn't think we were going to eat, so it wasn't a big deal that we had to wait at the bar. There was a million people here and although it was loud (people talking), there wasn't loud music at all - so I would recommend this for anyone looking to eat and carouse with friends - I mean you don't have to worry about being too loud or laughing too loud.Got a few tables and sat down - waitress came almost immediately and took our drink orders and asked if we were ready to order. I ordered the chips and salsa (with guac) and hubs ordered the buffalo wings. Apparently, she didn't hear me very well as we got the boneless wings, but no matter - they were good. The chips were thick and very crispy, the guacamole was really good - but just a warning, the salsa is like FIRE. I love hot stuff, but this was insanely hot. Nobody could eat it - except me and after awhile it was just burning my insides up and I couldn't get my water fast enough so I had to stop eating them lol Bill was cheap...$20 and that included the tip. Definitely worth the money IMO.After we were done, we went out to the "barn" to watch a country band play. The Whistling Dixies were pretty good - love girls in bands, especially ones that can sing & this was no exception. The sound in the barn is spot on, it's very airy and there's plenty of room for dancing and socializing. The only thing I would do different is have more bartenders and more servers...maybe put a beer tub near the stage and one by the door - it was hard to get a drink and God forbid if the bartender even looked at you or cracked a smile. Poor dude we came up to was so swamped he could barely keep up. Once we decided to leave, we went back into the other part and it was a dance club over there. Music was definitely different, but I can't see going back for this side as it was still really lighted and didn't even seem like a dance club. Gotta have dark for clubbing :) I hate country music, but this was a pretty good time - we will be back for sure.PS - things I hate about bars?? NO FRIGGIN BATHROOMS. I mean, come on - this place is HUGE like HUGE and it has one bathroom...2 of the 4 stalls were working. It's Saturday people, figure something out - nobody likes waiting in line to pee. If I owned this bar, I would have at least 4 separate bathrooms with at least 10 toilets. This place was PACKED and if you're going to have that many people in that big of a space, invest in some toilets. Geez...how is that not common sense?
