Here is a delightful small museum space with professionally curated rotating shows and free admission. How are people not all over this?We were the only people there. They need a press agent to toot their own horn!

Such a lovely and contemplative place. They always have something interesting on display. A great place to visit.

We toured the art exhibition displaying civil war era quilts and demonstrating the tensions between North and South. It was extraordinarily well done.

This is a state-run museum in a beautiful limestone building in Lockport, right on the I&M canal. The curator does a fine job of putting the showings together, highlighting a variety of artists and genres. It is free, but you can leave a donation if you like. Good diversity in the art displayed. Worth a drive to historic Lockport.

As a delightful center of regional history the museum provides a way to grasp an economic development and expansion in the mid-west. It also has nice part in the local art festival every year.

Very cool place to go to especially in the cooler climates. A lot of history and easy to get to. Recommended for families also.

Check out the exhibits in this beautifully restored building in downtown Lockport. Walk to dinner at Tallgrass.
