stray bar

I have been to Stray Bar on numerous occasions. From Sunday Bloody Mary's to late night snacks and drinks after Fall Fest in Frankfort.It is not a brew pub or a wine bar it's a grown -ups meeting and drinking bar. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a lounge from an earlier era. couches and upholstered chairs fill the area across from the bar and there are a few tall tables on one end and a small outdoor patio. The owner is usually making the rounds and makes everyone feel welcome and sometimes sends rounds to your table. Nice guy. They often have live music on some nights. Usually a soloist of some type but sometimes a duet. Jazzy mellow selections are regular fare.

This is a nice place to sit back relax, enjoy a nice conversation all while having a nice glass of wine. The small plate food is very ,good.
