This trail is a hard hike. The trail is steep and rugged. In certain spots you have to use wire cables to climb up cracks in the rock cliff. The hike is worth the views. The landscape is full of plants and animals. The view from the top are breathtaking. Just be prepared if you decide to hike. Take lots of water and snacks. Gloves are also useful due to the wire cables.

This trail zig-zags up the front side of the peak before getting to a saddle and then dipping down the back side before climbing steeply back up to the top. It really does take 4 hours to do the round trip. Don't bring a dog, it's too steep after the saddle (you'll have to carry it up or turn around). Don't take less than 2 liters of water! And bring a snack: you'll need the energy on the way back down.
