When taking a scenic drive up the Mt. Lemmon parkway what a wonderful place to take a rest and pick up some drinks, snacks and a few other tidbits. Lovely pictures inside the rebuilt store of what it looked like before a fire a wild back and what it looked like in the early cabin days.Generally a friendly place, get a drink and relax on the bench out front, which maybe needs replacing but is in such a wonderful spot to sit and relax that that's okay. Make sure you stop here on your visit to Mt. Lemmon.

This quaint little store surprisingly has just about everything you could need...in case you forgot to bring it! One section has food items, including cold/frozen, while another part has the more touristy things. A nice added touch is the homemade fudge. You can ask for a taste. It is about average in price. They don't sell postcard stamps...(which I think they should on weekends) so you do need to stop by the little post office!

This is such a beautiful drive and one you don't want to miss. People very friendly and fudge is great. Lots of fun driving up, walking around to different stores on top of Mt. Lemmon, then finishing up with a special treat of fudge.

I love this place's fudge! I like the Heath fudge, the cookies and cream and just tried the S'mores one - which is awesome. If you are doing the day long adventure and stop here to get missing nessecities for a picnic, it can cost you at least a dollar more for forgetting then if you brought it with you in the first place.. but, the fudge is awesome. I have stopped here many times in the past, whether to get fudge, buy milk and booze because I've stayed in a cabin over the weekend and ran out of something or a day picnic at Marshall Gulch. Everyone is nice and friendly there. It does have tight parking and usually, you get to park as someone is pulling out.

At the top of Mt. Lemmon in Summerhaven, there is still a country store to visit. With a very friendly cashier and great fudge (try the heath toffee one), this place is worth a visit. There are mountain "necessities" as well as food and gifts. Nice to see this place flourishing. Oh, and the fudge is homemade there. My friend had the peanut butter flavor and loved hers too.
