Our first visit to the Preserve and saw Sonoran Dogs perform. Great concert! The volunteers who help run this place have done an excellent job! Would love to go again in the future. I do not smoke, however, be aware smoking is not permitted on the property. And please, if you do smoke in your car, don't throw the cigarette butt in the dirt outside like the person did who parked next to us! Help keep America clean!

The setting is tranquil and has beautiful forest views. I have usually been here for meetings, and food served was very good.

$15 every fall and winter. Cozy atmosphere with small set and attractive cowboy themed designs. Great music with banjo guitar washtub and voice. Need more cowboy poetry though. Don't miss it Its next to the conservatory

This is one of those local musical outlets that garners national performers in a cozy venue, in the forested mountains, that should be attended many times. Always an enjoyable Saturday or Sunday afternoon, extremely well run by a dedicated group of volunteers, the quality of the multifacitated performers and entertainers is magnified by the intimate yet casual setting. Adding to this ambiance is having the performers mix with the audience during the intermission or conclusion. Not to be missed.

This wonderful venue was just down the road from Ramsey Canyon Inn where we stayed and had a performance on Sunday afternoon that we were able to attend. The small theater made for a very personal performance by Belinda Gail, who has won the Western Music Performer of the year several times. It was absolutely awesome! Their line up of entertainment is outstanding. So glad we found this gem!

Arizona Folklore Preserve you are up close with the entertainers...the intimate theater holds about 40-50 people. They have shows with entertainers that tell stories of their songs, most of them write their own music...The shows are only two days a week, Saturday and Sundays at 2 p.m. It's tucked away and the resident singer Dolan Ellis is the Arizona Balladeer. No seats are reserved, you make a reservation, get there at 1 to put something at a table you want. They sell coffee, tea, water and cookies. During intermission you can meet the singers, buy CD's as well as when the show is over with. I have been there many times and love it! They also have a little gift shop.

I stopped by the Folklore Preserve several times while hiking in the area but it is never open. They do not post hours in the window and no one answers the phone or returns messages.

I have been to the Arizona Folklore Preserve numerous times. Every show has been excellent. The setting in the new facility is very intimate, not a bad seat in the house. When we have vistors to our home in Green Valley we usually make the trip for a show and all our friends and family have loved the shows
