After Spider Rock, this was our favorite vista. You get a great panoramic view of the valley from here. A great way to start your trip driving along the South Rim.

This stop is well maintained and easy to trek around. The view provides great shots of the ruins as well as the canyon farms/hogans.

The view from here made us regret that we had not got the time to do the hike from the rim down into the canyon base. Luckily, with the good lens on our camera, we managed a really good photo of the ruins.

All the overlooks afford good views but this one includes a site of a cliff dwelling that is exceptional so be on the look out for it with a good pair of binoculars and a good camera.

This was my second favorite of the overlook views on the south rim (spider rock was my favorite). Take binoculars to see the Anasazi ruins. This overlook has a restroom.

The overlook and view from the rim is very nice but lacks the beauty of the walk down into the canyon. A pair of binoculars are a must on any of the overlooks but especially the White House ruins.

This is an amazing sight. We did not take the trail down to the ruins, but we were still able to see this amazing house with and without our binoculars.

be sure NOT to miss this overlook! We enjoyed the walks from the parking areas down to the overlooks. It is all so amazing!

Plenty of parking.Wish we could have taken a trip down into the valley to see these ruins up close. Very helpful description on marker at the parking lot, explaining how many people lived there and when.

A great way to see an amazing ruin if you're pressed for time. I'd spend the money for a tour into the canyon though.

The ruins are impressive even from the overlook, but lose best light after mid-afternoon if you are taking photos. The road in is good and the parking area is substantial compared to the other sites on the south rim. The viewing area is also extensive. I re-visited at first light (ruins still in shadow) and caught sight of three white goats foraging half-way up a tall rock cone.

Spectacular views of ruins. Recommend taking your tripod for pictures.

Would loved to have taken the trail to the canyon floor and am delighted it's there. Lots of photo ops and good sense of the site's antiquity.

This overlook was marvelous and enchanting. We were not bothered by the two friendly Navaho men selling jewelry and paintings.
