So much fun. Staff was very friendly and knowledgable. If you decide to do the zip line, be sure to bring chap stick. Your lips get wind burnt, but it is well worth it. The zip line is great.

WOW! The predator zip line experience was amazing. Never zip lined before, went with my wife and a friend, and we had a blast!!! The guides were all VERY professional, yet made it fun and relaxed. You go between 5 towers over the animals in the park. At each tower you get to see the animals, the guides give some info on the animals, then you zip over them. When we were there they were tossing huge chunks of meat into the lion cage and we were right there watching from above. HIGHLY recommend this experience, and it is an animal rescue zoo where the animals really seem cared for. All the better reason to go!

Very worthwhile. Better than most zoos.....good place. Much improved from former location in fountain hills..which was still good. Much more space now. Worth a drive from phoenix.

Take the safari tour to start with. We had a driver named Jessica who was fantastic, knowledeable and funny.Tiger splash is a must see, make sure you give yourself enough time to get there if you decide to walk.Keep an out for the turnoff, could be more clearly marked than it is.

shows alot different then when they were located in fountain hills. Not as much personal interaction as they had originally. the owners (Dean & Prairie are wonderful) and will share their story with you if you ask! Tiger splash is fantastic...a must see! an added new feature was the zip line.. lots of fun for ages 8 and up!

I'm really torn about zoos. I love to see the animals, but hate that they are "cooped up". This is not like that at all. Very natural, open. Animals are wounded or otherwise not able to live in the wild and trades with other animal parks. Of course the big cats are AWESOME!

Great to enjoy all the wild animals in a clearly natural environment! The up close and personal encounter with animals on the Unimog tour is a must! Photographers delight!!! Don't miss this!!!

Take the private tour - it really is fun and you get up close to all the animals on the tour. It is expensive, but really worth it! It's not to be missed if you are heading through Camp Verde.

Out of Africa was great. Got to ride bus around park and get up and close with the animals and even got a giraffe kiss.

Having been on a real safari throughout Africa, I can tell you that this was the closest thing to a real safari as you'll ever get. Honestly this park is like the real thing just on a smaller scale, of course. Besides the amazing, vast land and variation of wildlife on premise, the guides (all of them) were knowledgeable but not boring. You really do get to feed a giraffe (and kiss one if you so desire!), you get to witness one of the guides giving the hyenas neck rubs, and best of all, you get to watch the "Tiger Splash Show" which is nearly as good as the Siegfried and Roy show that used to headline in Vegas. The Tiger Splash show is worth the ticket price itself. They should be in Vegas. It is entertaining, educational, mind-blowing, and comedic. And, the absolute best part of the entire experience is that the animals are obviously healthy, happy, clean, and not sedated. This venue offers an unbelievable amount of space for all animals that live there. You don't walk away feeling sad or pity for the animals as I often feel when I visit zoos. This attraction is something to brag about in Arizona. They should do more advertising. It is worth the hour drive from Phoenix. Again, if you go, DO NOT MISS the TIGER SPLASH SHOW!!! Enjoy!

Spent afternoon at Out of Africa and how nice it was. Did the ride through the Serengeti and then a walk with and talk with the employee that feeds the animals. Lots of large cats and bears all in large area that they can play. Most animals are rescue animals. They also have a zip line. Something for everyone. They offer nice discounts for AAA and vets

Great safari ride. Then super tram ride to leisurely walk through the park of African animals. They were beautiful animals of which obviously are taken good care. The Tigers are the main attraction and you are not looking if you don't see them.

Unfortunately we visited on a very chilly and windy day, so we didn't stay as long as originally planned. The tour guides are very friendly and knowledgeable and make the experience so much fun, especially for the kids! Look for coupons in local travel magazines or on-line.

This is a interesting place to visit. I did not to expect to spend as long as we did here. Go early you could spend all day here! The workers at the tiger splash work their butts off trying to get the animals to play along with them. Although all the animals were great, the one year old grizzly was our favorite. Don't forget to kiss the giraffe.
