Great little place to check out the local music scene. Keep in mind, little. If you are trying to get good seating be sure to arrive an hour or so before the bands begin to perform. Draft beer selection is limited due to space. However, I have found that they normally do have one or two interesting microbrews tapped. Food is good for what it is, keep in mind, we are not here to be wined and dined. Carnival style cuisine, it's fun. Monday night's there is a 23 year old kid named Truitt Lollis who is an absolutely amazing blues style guitarist that plays every week. I highly suggest going on a Monday. Maybe I'll see you there.

Had to write a positive review for Darwins. Its a great locally owned (small)converted house for food fun (full bar) and music. Very casual vibe that isnt pretentious. I've never witnessed anything but smiles between guests there. Ladies groups can feel safe. You are close to the local and traveling musicians. Its fantastic. Small venue means "get there early" for a big name traveling band. Parking lot is small. But theres a free lot across the street.

We were in town for a conference for a week in April 2014. Two of my colleagues who play blues guitar and saxophone found out about Darwin's Burgers and Blues and their Thursday night Blues Jam. So, a group of us went for a night of fun. This is a small intimate place. The staff and the people were very friendly and welcoming to us "out of towners". My friends had a blast playing the blues with the house band. The crowd was really into it and they received a lot of compliments for their play. This plays knows and appreciates traditional blues style. While the live music was our primary reason for coming, the food and beer were equally enjoyable. The burgers at this place are amazingly good and there is an excellent selection of local craft beers on tap. We were pleasantly surprised by this! So, not only did we hear some great live music, we had a very good and inexpensive dinner along with some great craft beer. If you are in the area, Darwin's is well worth a visit. We were staying in Buckhead and weren't sure about making the trip to Marietta. We were so happy that we did. It was the best night of the week! We had a blast.
