Stopped at the newer Store off S/B I-95, (the original one is on the N/B side at the same exit). The two guys working there were the Owners and were extremely friendly and provided us with samples of numerous products and were great salesmen. We did not have time to hit the otherStore, which is were the Peach ice cream and other products are at, but definitely would like togo back to either Store in the future. Wish they had small jars of the jams, etc. for Air Travel.

Picture depicts Peach World accurately. Smallish roadside stand, but everything peach offered and Georgia treats! Tried the peach ice cream large cup about 4 or 5 scoops is 6$, peach slushie 6$ for a large of 16oz, peach wine bottle 15$. All very good. Operators friendly. Take a touristy pic in the scene setter. There is also a gas station at same location. Easy off and on highway.

They are way overpriced, there are many places in Georgia that have the same thing, but at a better price. Most items were not priced, so you had to ask what the price was.

The people running the place at the time were had wonderful southern hospitality. They sell interesting local products like Moonshine Jelly, hot sauces and local peach jams. That is a nice place to stop when traveling through I-95.

We stopped here for the peach cider and got a loaf of the peach bread and a bottle of the peach wine. Needless to say it was really tasty and a day filled sort of peachy!

We loved this little break in our travel! We bought peach ice cream, a peach slushy and peach WINE! It was all wonderful! I highly recommend the peach wine!

This place has some excellent Peach Cider. That is right, PEACH cider. While traveling I had my mouth begging for a wonderful juicy peach. Don't stop there during November for a peach because they are out of season. I think Georgia peaches are the juiciest that I have ever had. I was disappointed but the sales person pointed out a jug of peach cider. I decided to purchase this alternative item and brought it across thousands of miles. I heated this cider up for Thanksgiving and it was a hit with the family. Again, Georgia Peach World didn't let me down. Thanks.

This company has great signs all along the highway but a huge disappointment upon arrival. It is cramped, and very run down and dirty. The operator was not at all professional in appearance and was 'pushy'. The products are very, very overpriced. This company should spend some of their advertising money on cleaning up their property and repairing the building.

Georgia Peach World is located at exit 58, off I-95. If you enjoy peaches, this is the place to stop and brouse. They have all kind of peach products, such as; bread peach, jam peach, salsa peach, peach fritters, peach slushy and fresh peaches. They also have Peach Wine and Cider. The folks are very friendly and make you feel welcome. The wife and I spent a little more that 40 minutes browsing around. I'll be back next time come up this way. They are open from 8:00 AM-8:00 PM, seven days a week.

I stopped by exit # 58 and purchased a couple baskets of peaches to bring to my parents, and the con artist at the stand send me inside the store to pay with a scribbled piece of paper he called a voucher while he bags them for you. While I went to pay he swapped the peaches that I had picked, for a bunch of rotten peaches hidden under one or two good looking ones on top the bag. Oh!! Then they charge you $20.00 dollars for that crap. Travelers Beware!!!!They're places in the area that are legitimate. (As long as you pick them yourself)

We encountered an employee for Georgia Peach World at the Georgia Welcome Center on I95. There were samples to taste and items for display. It tasted and sound good and we wanted to stop. I called to see if their parking lot could accommodate a big rig and was told we had to park on the side of the road. Not happening for us, too bad for them.

I don't normally stop at these little off the interstate, what I call "tourist traps" but the cute old building caught my eye when we happened to get off exit 58 to get some thing cold to drink so we stopped in. I can say it was worth the stop. First I have to say the young lady and young man running the place at the time were very well mannered and had wonderful southern hospitality interacting with each customer who came in the doors. There is a lot of home made goodies and southern gifts at this shop. The peach smoothie is to die for! No sugar added. Also the different flavored pecans are awesome. We bought three different kinds. The only downside we had was the peach bread we bought was a disappointment. Very little flavor of any kind much less peach. We ended up throwing it away.

I think this place is adorable, and the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. We also got some amazing pecans that were simply delicious! However, everything was way, way overpriced. Like I said the pecans were amazing and worth the extra couple bucks for the novelty, but nothing else was very good quality (that I tried). I got the peach ice cream; the serving was very small for the price and it wasn't very good. I was disappointed. Overall, I think this is a cute place to stop and take a few photos, but don't waste your money here.

we thought we were going to get local peaches ripe and ready to eat. what we got were peaches ( the stickers were still on the fruit) bought from a local grocery not ripe and not ready. then to top it off we bought a peach fritter that had absolutely no peach in it. stay away. there must be local growers around

Do not EVER go to this rip off peach place! There are so many other places to get great peaches in Georgia. On our way up to Washington, DC from Florida, we purchased $20 worth of peaches. By the time we got to Washington, we had to throw the ENTIRE bag out. Each and every peach was bruised and rotten!! What a waste of $20!! When we left Washington to go home to Florida, we tried another peach place, which was a peach stand outside of a gas station. Again, I paid $20 for a bag of this time DELICIOUS peaches! Not one peach is rotten and they taste amazing! That George Peach World at 1828 Georgia Hwy 57 in Townsend, GA 31331 (912-832-3270) is a place just out to make money. Do NOT buy anything there!
