Our hostess (I hate that I forgot her name) was amazing, very welcoming. I felt like I was at a friend's house. Loved the red wines. I bought the 2013 Glassy Red because I don't often like a fruity chilled wine. I prefer stronger reds and their 2012 Norton is amazing.

We stopped in here to grab some goat cheese from the little organic market and stumbled upon the tasting room for Stonewall which is next door. Really cute place. They had some goat cheese and fig preserves out for tasting and generous pours of the wine. The wines rate as a good and were definitely better than Tiger Mtn which is just up the road. Will definitely go back.

Carla and Carl Fackler have planted 5 acres in vines and have cultivated them with exquisite care. Their website is www.stonewallcreek.com The vineyards are about a mile from the tasting room. Gail pours the wine in the tasting room and is a very hospitable person. We found the wines to be very good and bought quite a few bottles. You get to taste 5 very good wines for $5.00. I have tried quite a few wines made in North Georgia and found these wines to be among the very best. I will take my friends back to this place in a heart beat. The tasting room is open Thursday-Saturday noon to 5:00. Adjoining the wine tasting room, but not associated with it, is a little cafe with natural healthy foods. A great little find for lunch. The combination of the wine tasting and a very good lunch makes for a great outing.
